1 groupable by a group of well-geared level 70 people. Tank at 17k raid buffed, fully slowable. Took him down in 15 minutes, grouped parsed about 700 DPS, so keep that in mind. Didn't drop anything worth mentioning.

I killed about 40+ of these monsters all types of orcs in West and East Commonlands...and I think the scalp is a rare drop.

I needed this to hand in to the guy in High Hold Pass...I'm going to see what the Nektulos ones cough up and then if that doesn't work, I'll test out the gnoll pup scalp drops in Black Burrow as suggested by this site.

Well went to both...nada...killed some gnolls (10) in High hold Pass and got 0 scalps.

I took my cleric to Crushbone and killed 30 orcs and got 13 scalps and 7 belts. this is the place to farm orc scalps...not EC, WC or High hold pass... :-)

Me, a 50 ranger on Antonius Bayle, was in EC today raising my evocation skill. To make things a little more interesting, I headed to the second orc camp and thought I'd molest them for a while. After repeatedly casting Flame Lick (all day), I noticed something weird about the Orcs regen.

Their regen rate is normal until you get them below half health. At which point their regen increases two or threefold. (I know this because Flame Lick could not damage the mob below half health, and by hitting the mob once or twice, the increased regen could easily be observed.)

Conversely, once below 20% health their regen goes back to normal, and Flame Lick will once again damage the mob (to death). Anyone else observed this variable regen rate?

Just a thought, Leafmould

DF Centurions, Oracles, Chiefs, and Legionnaires drop dfs belts, which u can sell for 2-4 plat each. I just take 6-8 back-packs, collect the belts, and sell them for 25 for .1 k. the only problem is that i'm always encumbered, so I have to pay ppl to give me SoW so that I can walk. Overall, I've gained 375 plat in a week. very good for me.

Oh yeah, i fgt. there is an inn between the 2 orc camps, where u can sell all of your excess loot. most of it goes for 1-2 gp. the center merchant (i dont know about the other two) is of a faction the goes up when you kill orcs, so now he cons real good. good hunting :)

They are used in one of the new low lvl Halfling Warrior quests, the Proudfoot Weapon:

They drop off the orcs in misty thicket. If they drop of the orcs in east/west commons or north ro, then I would guess they would also be part of one of the new low lvl freeport quests.

I was gonna say. I have NEVER seen ANY orc, let alone a lowly cent drop anything bronze before. I have also never seen a cent drop a scalp either. Pawns and now scouts in Nek drop them. And pawn picks dropping from cents?? Why do you think they call them PAWN picks?? And legos drop pads not cents. Somebody screwed up the loot info on this mob big time.

Killed an orc centurion in Misty Thicket... to my surprise he dropped something called pickforks chain coif, or something like that... AC 8 magic resist +1, small size.

Would get about 23-24 pp if I sold it to a vendor, but IŽll keep it for now. Anyway, rather good loot from an orc cent.

its not pickforks lol, it is Pickbringers chian coif. it does sell for 23pp and drops a little less frequently than df belts. I got 4 or 5 of these in one day and then bought a slime covered harpoon which is 10/25, very nice for my level. I mean a level 12 rogue using a 10/25 who provided and bought it for himself is very nice.

I just thought i'd post a little interesting story about my rogue.....I entered WC at level 9 and found the Orc camp. Now mind you i had a few buffs nothing special really and within 3 days i leveled up quite nicely off of them. Yep I'm now level 15 and its all thanks to those great Orcs.... But what i think is funny is that their max level is 12 but why were they still dark blue to me at level 14? I don't know but i just thought i'd share that with ya I'm now happily looking for a new place to go to to level up some more I'm on my way to my first level 20 Char so when good ol Erroilloises the Dark Elf Rogue hits it i will be sure to let you all now. Well thanks for readin this see ya later all....=D

the reason some still con dark blue is because the higher level you get, the more lower levels things will com dark blue. at level 4 some Large Rats will con dark blue, at level 9 some fire beetles will con dark blue, and so on. i am level 34 now and level 26 things con blue to me. its just the way the conning system works bud =)

what you do is at lvl 7 or 8 group w/ some people in EC and level your way on up by killing orc centurions at orc camp 1 or orc camp 2. Good exp and good times in a group of six people they can get pretty easy for the exp you get. Good money too. they are about 7-10. I'm gonna solo w/ my druid once I get lvl 11. druids are so fun. damageshield, firefist, snare, ignite, buffs, what more do you need

The Orc was really shrimps. Their first true apperance was the books The Hobbit and The Lord of the Rings. The author ,J.R.R. Tolkein created them pretty much. Origanly orcs were the size of Dwarves. Only the Urak-Hai were barely man-size.See the movie Fellowship of the Rings December.

I logged my lvl 7 warrior on just inside the east gate of FP the other day.. proceeded out as I was headed for EC.. and one of these things started bashing me the instant I stepped outside. He was hitting me with stun so that I couldn't fight back. My HP's were two thirds of the way down before I knew what happened and I had to turn around and hightail it back inside the city to rest before I could go hunting. Sheesh!
