Rodcet Nife is, in lore, a skinny male, and more representative of curing I think, than healing. I don't think he is meant to fit teh mold of the archetypical EQ cleric.
Also, his name is an anagram of *Docter Fine*(Sic)

The god, Rodcet Nife sometimes makes an appearance as himself at the Temple of Life in Qeynos.
He is a bane to people hunting the Koalindl fish for the Stein of Mogguk Quest.

Ran into him tonight while on my level 75 necro. Summoned a pet and attacked him. He quads for 427, and does indeed summon. He resisted all spells except lifetap, and I could only land lifetap on him in one in three tries.
Upon his death he droped a rune of contradiction, and I took a faction hit with RodcetNife

Rodcet doesn't have his own plane, since...well..he's just not that special I guess. Because of this, he needed a unique, sneeky way to be in the game--so he's a fish. You could've at least formed the *hypothesis* that he was a fish, just by scrolling down.

I tried /hail and hail rodcet nife. to no avail :(

tried to give him a dead koalindl fish.... he just gave it back :(... I was hoping it would piss him off or something :)

ok ok, so.......my favorite god is analien fish.... so much for the idea of him being an uber cleric in white shiny armor and a valorium flail... but......A FISH!? i been looking all day to find Rodcet Nife, he doesnt have his own plane or nothing, just a little pond..... somehow this reminds me of that book "Are you my mommy?" ... dont ask, cuz i ahve noooo clue, i guess its late :/

omg people read the stat's that allakhazam put out here for you... the loot is a fish... just a fish! and i bet it doesnt even drop every time!!! as far as the temple having holy days or something. i dont think they have any... i dont think it ever changes in the temple at all unless someone gets aggro....

Just met him today (assumption...) around 9 am EST. He cons even to my 55 ranger. He is amiable, as well as priests of life and did not respond to hails. Btw, you have to go underwater to /con him other than indifferent.

If you speak to one of the guys around the pool (it's been 2 years since I was killed by Rodcet, so I forget the guy's name now), he talks about how Rodcet Nife "supposedly" comes down to the pool as one of their own koalindl, the greatest fish, blah blah blah. Long story short, Rodcet is real, despite the number of people that think you're crazy.
Hmm... I wonder if he has a loot table...

I was killing the other level 1 spawn fish with a junk character to build the needed faction for my soulfire quest when this fish showed up. It killed my junk char in one hit for 454. I told my guild I just got killed by a god fish and most of them thought the pally had gone nutso. Did get it confirmed by two people in guild though. Would be cool to raid. Theoretically you should be able to get a bunch of casters to nuke it to death, unless the fish can jump out of water or cast spells.

I don't think he spawns at a particular time or anything.. I think he's just bored. I mean.. Planes have been found to other god, right? Well, none have been found to Rodcet Nife's.. so.. he's bored and lonely.. -sniff-. Maybe it will be discovered soon on the moon.. after all.. he is an alien.. spaceship and all.. x.x

This guy has never been killed on my server he is lvl 50 and he hits for 475 asumming you have no defense and he always hits for the same or so it seems he never misses and the reason why no one ever killed him is much like the trent in NK Xannabuss who is god to trents this fishy will bring ur faction from amiable or indifferent to threatingly hes very hard and like trent he has friends in high places ex capt lancot. hehe gl hf also if anyone kills that damn trent tell me in a post what his loot is he is a little mofo i know 2 things about the trent it dosent hit melle and it has high lvl spells including summon hehe

LOL, everyone would have to crowd into the pool to avoid aggroing the guildmasters in the UFO above (don't really want lv50 clerics joining the fun). Could get very messy, but would be fun to see.

Actually, I think he hits for the mid 400s. This is what I have heard from people who have encountered him, and it's also what was shown in screenshots of him.
