How much have you actually played everquest ? And did you level your character via someone powerleveling you or did you do like the hardcore gamers that are true to playing and grind thru? I ask because quality players ALWAYS assume that most any mob that is over 51st level and has a major role or some involvement (even if its just to kill it with little fanfare) summons. The further up you move past like 70 especially with the newer expansions and especially in, indoor zones the whole point of an indoor zone from a dungeon developers perspective is use the dungeon and its creatures against the engaging party or player.. If you as a player are running the intended content cannot happen hence summoning and though people do it eq is not meant to be kited ranger style or otherwise (with a few zones where they made it such that druids and other kiters could directly with them in mind). With all of this in mind I find it surprising you would go into a zone in the much higher bracket level in eq and be so shocked a mob will summon c'mon this isnt Castle Mistmoore we're talkin here.

Where does this guy pop anyone ?

rootable/snareable mobs in room with him didnt add

walked throug wall and got jumped with him and friends
wiped as we were not ready = 4 friends at least
