I killed Gorgolosk last night soloing w/a cleric merc on my way to Island 5 for my Ranger 1.0 epic.
A good camp is directly in front of the windmill doors back against the edge of the island. I cleared the front yard mobs and then went to arrow pull the air elemental on the back right corner of the windmill pad.
Suprisingly, the elemental didn't come but Gorgolosk did without his other buddies (2) in the windmill.
I had the key by then so just moved on to Pegasus Isle to get the Essence Tamer. Could be done with a 60-65 damage dealer and a healer probably, if you are careful not to over pull.

I found Gorgalosk inside the temple on the right. Make sure you look inside or you may not see it.

He is actually outside flying around. Not inside.
This spawns inside the building on the right side of the doorway.

4 Boxxed him last night - he dropped Blade of Abrogation for SK epic. NOt necessary to clear whole island to pull him, weak melee encounter for lvl 65 players.

We killed him last night on The Rathe,conned white so Level 60.
He dropped Bracelet of Exertion as well as Bracelet of Cessation, so new info is that he can be level 60 and drops more than what is listed above. He was on the third island.

Hit max 380. can be easily killed with 2 groups, as long as it is tanked by a wrlord with 2 cleric.
I woul rate this like captain Kromzek of WW.

can be tanked with a mid 50s ranger and a 60+ cleric healing, cake.

This dropped a War only haste belt for us when killed, I believe the belt was called Belt of Contention. Nice stats and a good percent haste, though I'm not exactly sure on it.

we took it, holy crap, it was ENRAGED, 5 of our tanks died in like 10sec, then the ALL the wizzies and magicians NUKED FULL MANA bar and it died, poor tanks who died =(

Like many of the higher level mobs in this zone(bosses), this one becomes enraged when it hits about 5% life. You will see some red text that says, "Gorgalosk has become ENRAGED". When you see that, all tanks need to STOP ATTACKING and the casters need to nuke her down. Enraged mobs automatically parry every attack, and your tanks will be shredded in literally seconds if they don't back off.
actually, they RIPOSTE every attack, and the key is to have all but the MA behind it so that it can't riposte

Well, this MOB was added before Kunark. So, no one KNEW what level it was. So they put 53, and just haven't changed it yet.

The Gorgalosk isn't level 53. It conned yellow to our level 60 enchanter so it's either 61 or 62.
