Killed it earlier today. was found at loc: 507, -198, -126. Is a static spawn point, respawned as "a large beetle" after kill.

Additional info, killing this mob for AC aug, me (90 SK) and my T5 cleric merc.
HP = approx 1 million (just a touch over)
Adds spawn every 20 seconds after aggro. Took me 143 seconds to kill him and got 6 adds. Don't know if there's an upper limit to how many.
Adds have about 200K HPS each.
The beetles and insects inthe area do not assist; you can safely pull the named thorugh/past them. Except for one 'an odd looking insect' which will assist if there's one in range.
Killed 4 times so far, type 7 cloak every time, + a couple clays.

Having problems spawning him at the location you specified. Is he just a really rare spawn? I'm wondering if that is his only spawn location.

Well yeah that spot isn't the only place he spawns, just one of them; other posts below point out other spots.
I suspect that the Creeping Mold can spawn from any of the 'a large beetle' spawn points in the area, as have seen him in the same spots and/or wandering hte same paths that they do - but I'm not certain.

I saw him near the 507, -198, -126 location but he was a roamer, not a static. Not sure where he actually spawned.

Any recent kills on this Named, I can not spawn him at the pathing location that is out in front of where Areabella spawns. I he in a new location?

I killed Creeping Mold four times today to get the two augments I wanted. Mob spawns at LOC +640, +45, between the zone wall and a stone pillar. Placeholder was always "a large beetle". As indicated below, the mob roams in a zigzag pattern between spawn point and the nearby Genari statue. I sat on the spawn point and killed nothing but the placeholder/named. No other mobs are within agro radius.
Also drops the Celestium Encrusted Crural Clay (legs)
post patch where they consoldated / moved some named / ph-ers, I found one up at approx location pos 500 x neg 50 x neg 145. It was pathing north west of that location to south east. the location is center of its path. I did not kill it so do not know what can spawn there when named not up. This path takes the Creeping Mold from approx between farm 7 and farm 2, down through First Avatar of Saunk ( from the instance) and ends up a little north of genari 3 spot.

i can confirm this PH- the wandering large beetle that wanders from Farm 2 area to north of genari 3 on map.

More than 4 adds can pop. They're timed, no limit on them.

Eh more info please. what class/stats are you/tank? adds die quick? only four adds? and at which point in the fight? are they rootable/snarable? i am assuming fight didnt last long enough for additional info to be collected. just wondering. but thanks for the warning!
