The X class CWGs have the highest chance of dropping Melatite.
The XC clockworks come with a "frost module" which gives them an extra attack of cold. While not as annoying as the force attack, it can make them more difficult to fight.
They are most often found around the castle, and Lava Elemental Areas of Solusek A.

It's entirely possible, but not very likely that he dropped that much. Ive seen it happen on other MoB's but is EXTREMELY rare.

there is no way he could have dropped that much pp for its lvl someone in the group must have split some of their money or someone put lotta money on this mob :)

I killed this guy today and he droped 187pp and 19 gold pretty nice for a lvl 33 (grouped)
i think that would be 18pp just hit the 7 by mistack or there would be hunderds of people camping here
