the sentinel's pennant isn't listed against this mob.... which does drop said pennant.....

Anyone notice if they nerfed the drop rate for the seminals? I've killed this guy at least twelve times in a row and no armor drops. Is this just horrific luck or is there something more to it?

Ive got 8 task in the last 3 days trying off and on and no named have spawned for me yet am I looking in wrong spot, need to kill the scholars what? Ive been looking for him at the steps just before the big room with pit in it ive watch the stone sential spawn in front of me each time.

It's just real bad luck. You don't have to kill anything and a stone sentinel will spawn if it's the PH. Just leave instance if he does and go get another and keep trying. Eventually you will get some drops.
I created around 20 missions (between two characters, and one didn't have logs on). Precisely 9 spawned named. Of those 9, just 3 essences dropped - chest, arms/legs, wrists/hands. I'd estimate the zone spawns a named 1/2 of the time, the named drops an essence 1/3 of the time, and each essence slot has an equal chance to drop. In other words, each mission gives you a 1/6 chance of seeing an essence at all, and if you need 1 specific essence then you have a 1/24 chance of getting it. For those farming essences in group format, I suggest you make an arrangement where everyone chooses a slot they win by default to make things fairest. Otherwise, the closer you get to completing your set, the more likely you'll be found dead at your desk.

i got the tier 3 arm / leg essence off of him tonight.
also dropped a bracer/hand essence! i hear he drops pretty much all of em.

Spawns at or around -1302, -622. Like other instances he spawns roughly 13 min after the first person zones in. He spawns then wanders the last hallway right before the big open area where the pit down to the lower library area is. Safe spot to kill him is at -1296, -885 at the foot of the final staircase down before the open pit area, this area is devoid of any static or wandering spawns, and he will wander right to this spot. I read someplace that you need to do the scholar part first before this guy will spawn, this is false, you Do NOT need to kill any mods. If he doesn't pop "a golem sentinel" will spawn in his place and wander the same path the namer does. He is Snareable/Rootable as well. Hope this info helps.

Confirmed. A stone sentinel will spawn and path east to west at the above location -1302, -622.

well since i didnt see if anyone said if he does or doesnt... this guy summons, at about 97% he started to. so much for kiting =)

Corrupted Golemstone Fragment is the 7/3 version of the ear he drops.
also dropped Warped Seminal Luminessence (tier 3 head/feet).
