So what's wrong with calling it "Planet Bob"?
I am currently using these two to get me past the level 33 wall.
I am a DE Necro so I could care less about the faction hits. At 33 I am stuck using the spells I got at 29 and I still own these guys.
I wait until some bear or spider gets the attention of one of them and pulls it far enough from the other to avoid agroeing both. About half-way to that first small hill is enough. Then I get the guard's attention with my Darkness slower (Dooming?), and have the pet intercept just before he gets to me. This allows me to get Boiling blood and Vampire off as well.
With 3 DOTs on him and one of those a slower, all that's left is to cast fear and let the pet finish him. If He gets lucky, or I get a case of the fizzles then I just use aggroe kiting tactics and run around in circles letting the DOTs do their work. At 20% or so he'll stop and wander off letting me either recast a new pet, or work my piercing skill to finish him.
To recap:
A 33 Necro with the 29th. lvl spells/pet can easily solo the Toll Booth. The Guards are Dark Blue and need to be seperated first but you won't find that hard to do.
Just make sure the beast that guard is chasing isn't the charmed pet of someone who's also hunting them.

1. Killing Colin and Valon will LOWER your faction with WFP and EFP but RAISE your faction with NFP.
2. If you kill these guys, YES Slate will be on you a$$
3. If you pull one guard, the other gaurd WILL add.
4. A Lvl 30 SK CAN solo both Guards
5. I am not sure if a Lvl 25 Necro can take them out.
With that said, if you dont mind the faction hits, or the chump change, then this is PERFECT from 29-34 when you can't find a group in OT or DSP, or wherever you might go. Spending one full day here at Lvl 30, got me past it. And thats when Lvl 30 used to be a hell level. I believe it no longer is.

Is this guy hard for a 37 Warrior to solo? i know ill need a Druid or Cleric but can I solo one with not much Problem? Thanx Jagular 37 Warrior of Solusek Ro

nope..he shouldn't be a problem at all for you...i camp the tollbooth alot when bored and can't find a druid group...it is rea good xp...terrible loot though...and they are easy for me..i don't even need a cleric or druid really....all i do is get somebody with good faction to help me break the spawn..i get then to pull a spider or something to draw one of the guards to the side and then i solo the camp...just have alot of bandages...i just bandage to half and go to town on them when they spawn...hope this helps...sorry about the pointless rambling

Everyone tells me I need to start improving my faction with the FP Millitia, so I think about it, and I've even killed Altunic Jartin in EC a few times, hoping to raise my faction... But everytime I port someone to Wc, I find myself being drawn to the guard tower to say hi to them, and then they attack me, so I have no choice but to fight back.. hehe.. Oh well I guess i'll get over the thought of never being able to return to my home city..

If the guards scowl at you because you've been killing them too often, then slate will attack you if he sees you in ec...

does anyone know if these guys drop the damaged freeport militia helm needed for the Shadowknight Darkforge armor quest?

if u have nice equip at lvl 30 then yes a lvl 30 shadowknight can solo him .

I have completely ruined my faction with the freeportmilitia (as a matter of fact the message when I kill either one of them says my faction couldn't possibly get any worse) and I have yet to see any fine steel weapons dropped from them. The money ...worthless usually only a few sp. The exp however is pretty good.

about that rusty weapons witch are cheap go to high pass keep there u can kill guards that i think are around 20-30 but iff u kill one they drop one fine steel short sword witch i sell to vendors or ppl for there pets and they well drop form 10gp-6pp really good xp but messes up your fraztion with freeport mittlda i dont care anyways i never go to freeport

you'll get KoS in west freeport by killing them and up to warmly in north freeport , at lvl 36(iksar monk) I can solo colin and valon easy.

I have been killing this hummie for damn nigh 2 levels now and, I have yet to see him drop anything but rusty weapons. You want money, kill an HG :)
