So we have 7 posts here all talking about where the guy is at and what time he spawns. Well that's great however, didnt really need 7 posts to tell me that. What is a little bit more meaningful information that everyone failed to cover, is info on how to kill him. I wish people would stop posting things just to post them. Who cares what time you got there and that you are going to camp it.

Ok fool, u dont kill this guy, just update loc right under him, give him ribcage, thats it, no fighting
He spawns at 9 but not 9 on the dot. About in the middle of 9, and he's in the island off the coast, in the middle of the pillars. There are no mobs around to aggro either, so you can buff up/practice spells/whatever while waiting.
There's 2 minutes per game hour so keep this in mind. A full game-day is thus 48 minutes. (I tracked the minutes exactly from 6-7pm)

He is Located on the Island in the North East corner of the zone at +2858,

Despawns like 5 seconds before 2AM, so if it just turned 1, dont fret, you can still make the run to him and not have to wait until 10pm next game day

Got here at 1 am .... no sign of him. Guess I'll camp out till he pops.
Can I get my fire pet to look like that?
He spawns at about 10pm game time, and stays up for a few hours. I wanna say until 1am, but not totally sure about that.

This is the monster that Trakanon calls "The White Flame" for the Purifying the Body task. Completing Purifying the Body also updates The Grand Illusion task. He seems to have a spawn timer, and is rarely up.
