This guy makes the guards in Qeynos look tough. I frequently rampage through qeynos killing everything i can cuz i hate the humans in EQ, so one day i killed this guy. Hits for 200 max and has about 10k hps. Easy kill. Have fun kicking butt all.

tried out Armintel's advice on the Innoruuk server - no can do. First Felodius, then everyone else there said "I don't want this paper, you keep it." Good job I suppose, I'd hate to have done all that running once for each of the NPC's in there, only to find none of them want it. Question is - who does want the letter, if Astaed is no more...?

I was trying the SSOL Quest and Wow, Aeston nowhere to be found, after I was way into the quest. Hmmm, petitioned a GM, LOL, he said maybe he was on vacation. I have one question Verant...may I go on a vacation too??? The guy needs to be there if the quest says he will be, not on a "vacation". This was a waste of time and I'm glad none of the guards take vacations.

Ok So I am doing the clothesspinner quest for faction! WHAT A WASTE since he aint there this is the guy that gives the faction I want!!!

Well, I took the inititative and petitioned a GM about where this buttplug is hiding, and his words to me were "This guy has better things to do then just wait around to fulfill quests. He's wandering, keep looking"....... REAL NICE to move the turd when one is already half way done with the quest >:/ Next thing you know they're have all the folks in Ro start going to Luclin for vacation. Good luck finding him all. I'm keeping an eye out, too, and if anyone finds him post it!

Well I just ran around with a new char asking every NPC I could find "tell me about Astaed Wemor", "what about Astaed Wemor", "have you seen Astaed Wemor", and a few others. no go.

Back when he first disappeared, lo these many weeks ago :) I petitioned and a GM type told me that there was not a problem and maybe he had gone home or gone out drinking at, well, I forget which inn, but it didn't matter which because he was never there, and kind and helpful people with tracking could not find him anywhere. (And I never saw A.W. the many times that I was wandering the zone trying to turn in bone chips to make sure I would have faction for this, which is another story.)
So after a while I stopped crying in my beer and went wisp-whomping for fun and profit and never looked back. But every now and then when I'm buying milk and muffins, I see his face on the side of the carton, and I wonder - Astaed, laddie, where are you?
(Probably riding the subway in Qeynos Underground, wishing he had an extra 5cp for the conductor. Fight the fare increase - vote for Tony Bayle, and get poor Astaed off the MTA!)

This guy is apparently apart of the 'Sisters' quest, where you give him a note from nerissa Clothspinner. Is this the quest that gives the Mace?

A Bard named Felodius is standing in Astaed's place. This is the same bard that stands at the bottom of the path to Highhold Pass in East Karana. I assume this must be a conscious decision by the developers, to work on Astaed and perhaps the SSOL quest. I did the quest and got the SSOL, and found that it was under-powered relative to what you can buy in the market. Also, the Hammer of Wrath has been improved, making the SSOL relatively less attractive. Perhaps the quest is being replaced.

I just started a halfling cleric on Luclin and worked my ass off to get lvl 5 and 30gp, travel all the way to Qeynos only to find Astaed Wemore gone, wtf is up with that. If anyone knows anything, please, do tell.

Typically you could find him around the flying saucer pool (where I took the picture), in a group of about half a dozen other cleric NPC merchants.
I haven't been back to see if he's not there any more though.
