Jillian Florantine says Yes.. The cave just up the hill here. Would you be [willing] to see if you can figure out what is causing the disturbance?'

You say, 'I am willing'

Jillian Florantine says 'Great, return to me when you have figured out what evil is brewing down there.'

You have been assigned the task 'Haunted Cave'.

Figure out why the undead cave has become haunted 0/1 Crescent Reach

This cave is the Nokk cave, entrance at +676, -2416; you need to head down to the opposite side of where you find the 'discarded bones' for the Charm of Lore .. the other side has a bundle of little Ghost of All Hallows Eve, and a large Shadow of All Hallows Eve. They're all KOS and look like Erudite spirits. When you approach any of them, the task will update.

Kill the Shadow of All Hallows Eve 0/1 Crescent Reach

Kill the big ghost and the task updates again. The Shadow of All Hallows Eve may have an illusion proc or spell that turns you into an erudite spirit .. (this happened to my pet, but I was unable to recreate it with a friend)
