Back in the old days i considered him a "gold" mine. Back when dragoon dirks sold for 20pp and that was alot! ; )
Why camp a rare spawn, for a rare drop that's going to be fought over in Crushbone when he spawns every night and always has the dirk, in my experiance atleast.
Course now who gives a rats ass about it...*sigh*

indigo brotherhood and guard faction are not the same so if u mess lower the indigo brotherhood faction the red wine quest wont help. red wine quest is only for raise ur faction with the guards and merchants

If you do something to cause a faction hit with Dark Elves do the wine quest in the libuary. With a backpack full of wine you can go from dubious to amiably.
That wont help this guys faction. He's on Indigo Brotherhood faction (Neriak Warriors). You have to either kill Wood elf NPCs (Slaves in crushbone for example) or if dubious, you can kill halflings in Nektulos and turn in their heads.
This Ambassador is like his counterpart in Crushbone; He commonly drops a Dragoon Dirk, and he's about as tough as D`Vinn.

If you are an ogre looking for some cash (and don't mind a faction hit to the DE warrior guild... no big deal), this guy is for you. He will always drop a dirk. You will always find a buyer (see the post below this one).
He hits in the mid 50s, and hits fast (since he always has a dirk in hand)... pretty much like his cousin Dvinn.
Be warned: If you're an ogre be careful when fighting this guy. If he runs, he will run through the shaman guild. The shaman ogres will *NOT* aggro on you if they see you fighting him, but bouncers *WILL*. There is one bouncer that wanders up past the shaman guild, so be careful.
My only recommendation: Keep this guy a secret for as long as you can. Dragoon Dirks are a hot commodity for the low-mid players. If you plan on farming them, I'd recommend moving around to different zones to sell on rotation. Otherwise, you'll get blamed for being a "hacker" for being able to get another dirk so quickly (heh heh... happened to me once).

I wish something more would drop the Dragoon Dirk, I want one of these badly but don't want to lose faction by killing K'ryn of D'vinn. If anyone would like to sell me one give me a tell, i hear the going rate for the dirk is 20pp, but i'll bargain.

Seen it go for LOTS more than that, on Zeb, seen it go for near 200pp, which is insane!!

Talk to Lork in the Ogre warrior guild. After completing the severed arm quest, he will tell you to kill both DVinn (Crushbone) and KRyn and bring proof of their deaths.
Bring both nodrop hearts (from KRyn and DVinn) to him and get the Gatorsmash Maul (30 dmg 70dly magic 2h blunt), a great weapon for a mid level shaman.
WARNING: Kill KRyn swiftly and as fast as possible. DO NOT let him run. The Bouncers will attack you if they see you attack him, so don't let them see you attacking him. :)

I saw something today on the quest database where a druid said that he could do the Stein of Maggok quest with wolf form and a little bit of faction-enhancing work, so I guess the answer is: No, wolf-form druids are not KOS in Oggok.

Wolf Form will fool the Bouncers and Merchants, but not the guildmasters. Make sure to use invis when sneaking past them.

At 8am exactly, the bouncer de-spawns.
At around 9:30am this guy spawns.

He hangs out in the shamen guild I do believe, quite far into it though, you have to do some searching around. He also has a bouncer as a placeholder, it depends on the time of day whether he will spawn or the bouncer will. He is the counterpart to Ambassador D'vyn found in Crushbone. If you get both of their hearts and give them to some guy in the warrior guild you will receive the Gatorsmash maul. Unlike D'vyn he always drops the dragoon dirk.

As a lvl 24 magician he's white half the time yellow the other half but doesn't hit peticularly hard bout mid to high forties. Always has the dragoon dirk though.

K'ryn conned even to me at level 24, but I suspect he fights as if he's a higher level like most named Dark Elves. His level probably ranges as well.
