Approx. 110k HPs, average hit 444 (max 1008) on 75 warrior merc, AE was hitting me (76BST, ~1400AAs) for 4050.
Biggest problem wasn't him or his AE, it was his two friends that were standing next to him when all 3 aggroed when we weren't paying attention.

He appears inside the big ship-house on the south-east side of Jarder's Hook Island.
He cons yellow to a 75, so cannot be 79 as claimed - would be 76-77.

Just killed him a second time, this time he spawned in one of the rooms upstairs in the ship, so probably he can spawn at any spawn spot in the boat.

Okay, I killed him now, so here is the low-down.
His spawn loc is n822, p2880 inside Jardel's Inn (the ship-building in the main camp)
His nuke has an extremely short range, so it is easy to cast and be out of range - but it is also extremely tough to resist (I did not resist it once and my saves are around 600 in all)
He had less HP than I expected, roughly the same as the trash.
He dropped:
