wish i knew how hard this mob hit seeing how he just spawned while i am camping the named for throwing items dood. how hard does he hit for what effects does he use if any? seems im about to find out for myself but keep these things in mind for future references on different mobs i'll post what i find out after ive had my way with him. if a 12.2khp monk can tank here at ?lvl? an 85 monk with 25khp and 3kac should be able to kill with a merc :o\
max hit i saw was 2174 min was in the 500s he flurrys and runs at 15% killed him twice. dropped essence stone both times :p dropped chain powersource once

Just soloed him (April 28th 08) and he conned yellow to a lvl 80 bst. Dropped essence =/
Using Pal,Clr,Bst setup- 3boxed the NE area for Gatewatch Urgwit. Was not much tougher than trash, at 3800-ish AC buffed, maxxed defensive/avoid/shielding, pretty easy camp to box, using Dulcify to single at times.
Killed him 3 times (+ multiple PHs). All 3x dropped the stats aug. Eventually invited a few guildies for free exp, and killed him 2 more times. Scored 2x hp augs, back to back. So my totals in ~4-5 hrs = 2/5 HP augs to stat augs :)

Camped this bloke on and off for at least 24 hours, a lot with different groups and i've seen him about 10 times... seen hp aug 4 times, lost evry time. spent 3 hours camping him earlier.. didn't even see the bastard spawn!!!! going back again tomorrow for maybe 2 hours. I suppose at least i'm getting exp. =O

I've been on him for days (estimate 10+ hours playtime) and never saw him until a couple nights ago. It makes me sad but the xp is still nice.

Camped him for 5 hours yesterday and he didnt spawn once! So, i agree with you that he is much harder to spawn than any other named i have done in this zone.

He drops Plate Powersource as well as Chain (Faintly Glowing Powersource, Softly Glowing Powersource.)
I have never once seen him drop powersources, can anyone confirm this? The 100hp aug is rare, he loves to drop that trash aug that has stats all over it and no hp or mana.

Yep, seen this one drop silk, plate and chain powersources, only 1 out of 10 or so were chain though.

Saw him spawn 3 times in 3 hours, 1st drop was the HP aug, next 2 drops were the stat aug which is +20 to all stats (IE str, agi, sta, int, wis, etc)

How rare is this guy? Have camped his location several times over the last week about 16 hours total and have yet to have him spawn.
