Anyone know what the Mark of the Dunes "Use ability" Clicky does? I really can't tell just makes a pink cloud that fades after a few seconds ... no noticeable effect on stats and such that I can tell.

Pink cloud makes me think Pepto-Bismol and is probably used on or inside Fiddleback to get others or you out of his stomach. Try it out, if you're so inclined, and report back. :)
Most Use Ability clickies are for quests, but this sounds like for the being swallowed situation.

Not sure if anyone has said so, but I think it would be important to point out that "Fiddleback's Mindfire Poison" has a silence effect to it beyond the DoT.. would have been nice to know before trying to take him on.
Anyone know his spawn time?

Tried to kite him today with my wiz. Ya, I know. Anyway, I think he has about 400k HPs b/c my 8k dmg crits took 2% from him. He didn't summon me at all, but his melee rage was HUGE. I was able to pull him away from the other spiders without any adds, and could snare/root with little resist. Any one know if he only summons when his health gets below a certain point?
if a mob summons you have to get the mob to 96 or lower before it will summon, and yes this one summons

He summons and he is "slightly" slowable with Balance of Nihil, was only lvl 68 when I took him on, that was also after malos landed. He didn't resist my DoT's after malos either. Crippling Spasm also landed.
Reflection should be well timed rather than time-consuming.
He must have 2 million hps.

He AE rampages a lot. Moreso than most any mob I have encountered before. His ATK seems to be pretty low (DPS on me was not even close to being enough to need discs at 3350ac), but the combination of the AE ramp, the root, and the DoT he can get nasty.
The root is not a short range spell, it hit me well outside of melee range numerous times (far enough away to avoid the DoT) while I was not tanking. Combine the root/AC debuff with the incredbile amount of rampage and it gets pretty mana intensive to melee him down. Ranged DPS is a huge plus, he doesn't have that many hitpoints. Healers and casters can avoid the drain DoT and still heal/nuke effectively; ours sat up on the hill above where we fought him. Loot was very disappointing for how long it took us to kill him with about 38 - 42 Qvic/Tacvi - lighlty CoA geared toons (bracer and unknown-use quest item along with some spider silk).

Max hit was over 4k tonight, huge hit box. AoE Ramps Often, kinda reminds me of the Arch Lich fight with all the rampage spam.

when i hit 71(sk). i saw this guy and pulled him for soloing(yeah i crazy ;()
max hit was 3000's( not sure cause i got killed so fast) ramp and flurry.
higher atk compared to sunderock mobs.but think this is grpable.
