I have spent many hours looking for this guy, then by a stroke of luck, I watched him spawn at 590, -2500 at 9pm.

I'm sure some nukes can land on this guy, but none of mine did. Was looking around for the Witch quest guy when Duskie jumped me. He was green to me (lvl 48 cleric). Wasted about 1/3 of my mana bar trying to get Retribution to land. Finally gave up and just healed myself and meleed him. He still got me down to about 25% HP/Mana. Serious under-con.

There I was beating up his wolf buddies and decided to take him on with my 34 Beastlord. I had temp and my pet and I were buffed up, and he was DB to me, so what did I have to worry about?
I pulled him in and at first I was on top but the tables easily turned when I noticed that my health was going down very quickly as if I didnt even have temp! Luckily I had already buffed myself with SoW..but DANG he ripped me up! He followed me all the way the way to Cresent Reach! =( I highly suggest being with another person to beat this puppy down if he cons DB or higher to you.

I don't know how effective this is going to be, but the dumb dog killed my Druid at level 39, and I want to continue with some other breathe quests. So here is my idea Charm Duskfall and attack Green Witch. Then Dot witch and when she falls nuke Duskfall. I will repost with success or failure of this tactic.
Time to max out brewing and Alcohol Tolerance. That way I can be a self-sufficient drunk.
he spawned right at ;) seems to be on a 7 or 12 minute placeholder didn't count exactly, not more than 15 minutes tho 1600,-2700.

Was able to solo this guy with a lil 34 SK thanks to HT! Took forever to spawn this friggin dog, GL with your camp!

He was still alive after 1423, but died after a futher 576. I cast AoA (4 archery shots that land at the same time) so I can't be more exact than that. The good thing though is this is a pure HP estimate - I debuffed him first to remove any runes, and he died before any kind of regen could effect him.

You ain't kiddin'! I'd been killing rats nearby where he spawns, and, realizing I needed to kill him for my Drakkin lvl 30 breath spell ( I was a 34 Monk), I went looking for him. Found him at the end of the path in that little spot of woods, and he conned blue, so i said, lets give him a shot....
I mean, I had decent gear and my skills were maxxed, so it should be a cakewalk, right?
Heh! I quickly got him down to abt 80% abd then noticed I was at 40%, so I decided to ease on down the road. FD failed 3 times in a row ( OK, that skill needs work) and he followed me all the way to the CR zone.
SOW potions.... Don't leave home without 'em.

I don't know if this guy is nerfed now or what but I have seen him up 1 time after a patch and since then I have spent 8 hours of actual time waiting for this guy to spawn and nothing :( I have a tracker and someone else got to him before when I saw him up. Also been killing woves trying to get him up if it even helps.

Finally got him at +654, -2617, +110, though I have seen him spawn at the opposite end of the trail near Denlord Darkmoon, also. Those who say he hits hard aren't kidding! The good thing is once you're big enough to kill him he has very few hit points. Easy kill for my chanter/mage/cleric trio at 40. Unfortunately, two of the three toons are Drakkins so I have to spawn Duskfall again yet all these darn ghost wolves are green! At least Ursula the Green Witch wanders here (and respawns almost instantaneously) so there is something db to kill for exp! ;p
UPDATE: Well, he respawned very handily in the same exact spot as I was posting the above! I didn't kill a thing to spawn him. Possibly someone else did but no one responded to my /ooc so I looted the second head and said good riddance to that part of Blightfire Moors! ;)

I tried him with my Ranja at lvl 25 with a pocket clr at 48... coulda taken him if I hadn't gotten swarmed by adds... (bad pull spot). He hits very hard and with the adds the ranja dropped (clr spells kept getting interrupted) and the cleric ran for StoneHive... Went back just a bit ago with the same ranja at 30 now that I got the breath task (with same pocket clr) and had no trouble with the heals this time so he died quickly (better pull spot, no adds).

This fracker spawned at 11PM game time, killed ghostwolves for 1.5 hrs RL time before pop. Then he hits for between 94 and 216. DO not try to take this fracker on by yourself at lvl 30 he dealt a very quick death to my lvl 30 SK. Got 'em down to about 50%, oops me 0%.............

Duskfall spawns at dusk...around 6p game time.
duskfall also drops the arm pattern , know from xperiance having dropped it fr me once.

Ok, I've heard from a couple of different people that this guy is on a 24-hour spawn. I find that awfully hard to believe for such a simple quest. Can anyone confirm whether this is true or not?

No, I've killed him 3 or 4 times a day for folks. Just keep killing wolves until he spawns :)
He hits HARD.
Though, he's not magic resistant, at all. I could nuke him at 25. He doesn't seem to have much hp, either, it's just a matter of doing more dps than he is doing to you. Max hit on a level 31 shadow knight I was grouped with was 200. Needless to say, he died trying to get a FD off, and then I gated right as Duskfall hit me. =/
EDIT: Broke the max hit, Shadowfang is level 32 now, and Duskfall hit 210 on him. Is this guy -really- for the next drakkin breath spell?
EDIT 2: Dropped him with Shadowfang at level 40, and me at 30 after getting Superior Healing. Dropped his head, a mask, Blightfire Legging Pattern, and a raw runic hide. It wasn't actually that hard after I got my new heal, with an improved healing II focus on my legs.

Duskfall, a ghost wolf and 6th mob in the Dragon breath chain. Spawns in the ghost wolf area in eastern blightfire. No known single static PH just wax ghost wolves until he spawns.
