I'm going back and going through the breath quests. The Plaguebringer's spawn location is -682, 2766. I killed a few rats and snakes around this location before he popped up on track, I highsun'd him back to his spawn point to make sure. I did this at nighttime.

He does indeed spawn at all hours. I killed him at 3pm. He spawns a bit North of the Moors Sign Post that offers quest.

So i was sitting and medding to kill him for breath quest, and poof hes gone. So i sit there for a min, then check game time. 6am. I think this guy is only up during the night time in game, hence the "warning" on the signpost about the roads at night.

Bog rats pretty much left my Necro alone before she killed Plaguebringer. Now she only has to get within fifty paces of them and they stampede. Does killing the mob make you KOS to the bog rats?

He cons yellow to my 22 Monk. Seems to be straight meelee mob, didn't hit that hard and ran at 20%. I have seen him on both sides of the road coming out of CR, and I suspect killing rats and snakes helps get him to pop. Similar situation to Mossback, the named viper who appears in the same vicinity.
Dropped a sleeve pattern on 7/21, as did Mossback, Cliffstalker and Dragoneater.

Saw him spawn on the hill on the right side of the road...Was up there killing vipers and he spawned right near me then wondered down the hill toward the road that goes near the gnoll caves.

Just wanted to add....Kill rats until he spawns. If you have downloaded maps and there is a label stating his spawn area do not trust it. He can spawn in several place...just keep killing rats on either side of the road and keep yer eyes peeled.

Drops Plaguebringers head for the fourth dragon breath weapon quest. Also can drop arm, leg and boot patter for the armor quests. Also dropped a decent 2hb dont have stats please forgive me. He is lvl 22 - 25 as well. Spawns in the viper area between the cresant reach zone and the old tower.
