Does this guy still drop the chain bracer? I haven't left his camp in 300+ AA and still haven't gotten the chain bracer! I don't mind the xp but the bracer can't be that rare!

Camped him for 6 hours just today and did in fact drop the chain bracer (woot to the shammy) and the only other mold dropped was the silk, rest of the time was just the wands and cap.

took 10 hours to get one spawn... had Whitewater spawn in same place at the 6 hour mark. Darkmist dropped only the hood.

I was there for about 2 hours yesterday and we had him spawn 5 times in 2 hours. Dropped a mold 3 or 4 of the 5 times I believe.
Seems to be a semi rare spawn... cleared pools for 2-3 hrs 75mag,72necro,and 72 druid got him to spawn 1time....=-( no mold yet.

Well I found out to the dismay of my 73 Chanter that you can not mez this guy with the highest lvl chanter mez. Immune to Mez....can you say "Dead Chanter, Wizzy and Cleric?"

Can any one confirm that he does drop the leather bracer pattern? I've logged 80+ hrs at the camp near the mage vendor and have yet to see one. I've gotten every other bracer many times over, but not a single leather one. I'm starting to think he's bugged...

Near the guy that sells the magician spells, there are several pools of water, with 'a Steam elemental' and 'a Hotspring Scalding' as PH's for both Darkmist and Whitewater. I have killed both Darkmist and Whitewater there, at more than one pool in that area, so it seems any of the elementals are PH's.
The Whitewater pages indicates pools in another area, so maybe any Steam or Hotspring elemental in the zone can spawn Darkmist and Whitewater.
