In my experience, he generally DOESN'T see invisible.
Same here, I have never had him see invis.

Fight smarter not harder.
Loc is as Follows -1000 21 74 Southwest part of the zone
Ok so first time was him, then him again, then a PH who also casts an AE spell, does 1500+ damage ouch, then a total skipped spawn(wow this was weird, the old worlds would do this didnt realize the new stuff would), still waiting on 4th spawn, so it def skipped one.
Also wanted to add, he does enrage, does NOT rampage though.
Add sometimes enrages, just got the 4th spawn(or since skip 5th), and this one did NOT ae any spells, but DID enrage at the end, the other casted, did not enrage, but had the same name a drachnid...
So YMMV
P.S. None of them ever tried to run, not sure if its just cause they dont, or if its cause i am surrounded by other mobs :-), while killing it, however they are pretty far away.
It is snareable too btw(named and ph) but since they dont run.. whats the point

5 toons, 4 boxed by me, 1 main as me (paladin).
Fully slowable, hits hard though, triple attacks, 1840ish max on me i think
Does not see invis, just walk up to him.. fully buffed break invis with attack at the same time a healer starts CH, slow at the same time.
Easy fight, no adds, lowest char was 61
70,70,69,66,61
Paladin Tank, Cleric Ching, Bard attacking, DS/Regen/Resists
SHaman 61, slowed(overtop of 66 chanter slow)
Chain nuke with chanter, dot with shammy(heck i dont even have his good dots being used just epic 1.0).
About 5min fight for me, i dont have massive massive dps with how i got my guys setup, but i do use pets too

I'm not sure how many times he has been killed but after several attempts with 1 cleric in previous days we took him with 2 cleric--1 boxxed--a bard boxxing a shammy--a shrouded rogue--and a warrior all 70--warrior 11k hp 2.1k ac--1 cleric chain casting ch's and 1 fast casting heals and hots--he is harder then RS named and the shoulders that dropped are decent at best--I think there may possibly be another rarer item drop? On a side note we did get one greater shadowspine rune from his PH after killing the PH 5 to 7 times.

If you read it it says return to a clockwork in Corathus Creep.
If you do this, the spider clockwork comes to life for a sec and talks to you.
The gnome clockwork next to it asks how you got it to wake up, its been dead for years....
If you start speaking to the gnome clockwork next to it, you are offered a mission
