Emperor Draygun, the Lich King
Hits for ~6000; flurries; sees invisibility; sees Shroud of Stealth. He is undead, as are the "a lost soul" adds.
Emperor Draygun, the Lich King, stands in the middle of the south wall in the south-most hall in the zone. Next to him is an untargetable floating book "Shadow Spine".
Once you engage Draygun, Shadow Spine will spawn five undead "a lost soul" in waves two and a half minutes apart. In each wave, the five will spawn at intervals of a couple of seconds, helping with targeting.
The "a lost soul" are not fast movers but do warp badly. They hit for up to 1750. It is essential that they are killed fast or they will despawn and make Draygun stronger (increasing his hitpoints and making him hit harder).
Emperor Draygun absorbs the power of the shadow into himself, growing in strength.
When undead Draygun reaches 85% health, a live version of Emperor Draygun spawns.
Emperor Draygun says 'Adventurers, normally I would slay you for even entering my fair city, but I see your efforts against this evil. Please, I must have your help to heal this corruption and restore health to my people.'
At this point, any damage done to undead Draygun will heal him.
Emperor Draygun's lifeforce returns for a moment, as he feels enormous pain.
Emperor Draygun absorbs the magical energies of the spell.
It takes very little damage done to undead Draygun to return him to full health.
Live Draygun will vanish and you can get back to attacking undead Draygun. The same process will repeat at 60% and at 35% health. (Note that the live Draygun will only spawn once at each of those points. For instance, Undead Draygun can heal from 85% to (say) 100% health but you won't see live Draygun again until 60% health.

We seem to have six of these spells listed. Anyone know which one(s) it is, precisely?

Draygun's Touch, spell ID 7463 (5k base nuke) is what he casts. Spell Ids 7800 through 7804 are the zonewide AEs
Max hits before powered up, around 5.6K with 2500 AC buffed and 10% Shielding, after being powered up, max hit ran up to 7.5K.
Flurries quite a bit too. One flurry before power up amounted to 17+ K, slightly more than I had :(

Be prepared! Adds are classified as Undead, so Paladins really shine during this encounter.

During the fight there are a few things to watch for: 1) adds and 2) when he transforms into a live version of himself.
1) Adds, you get 5 adds I think somewhere around every 2 minutes, it might be 2.5 minutes but it stays teh same throughout the fight. These adds must be killed quickly or they despawn and heal the emperor and power him up at the same time.
2) The live version, during this time, any type of damage that the lich king takes heals him. So if your MA is still swinging away that will heal him. A good way to find the AFK melee, also recommend being careful with dots, those will heal him too. THIS PART IS NOT RANDOM!! The first time he switches is at 85%, then 60%, then 35% that is it, and it only happens once. So if you heal him from 85% to 100% he won't change again at 85%, instead it will go down to 60% and then go live again. Directly healing him will hurt him during this time too.
So to recap, hard hitting mob, every 2 or 2:30 minutes adds spawn, roughly 5 that need to be killed ASAP. Stop doing any type of damage to the king when he transforms at 85%, 60% and 35%, return to regular dmg after he switches again.

Tried this for the first time tonight, never got far enough to see if there's an emote when the "live" version goes away and it's safe to start smacking him again. But I think I understand the timing on the adds, at least.
It looks like the first set of adds spawns about 90 seconds after Draygun is engaged. Later sets spawn every 2.5 minutes. The important thing is that when folks say you need to kill them fast, that's exactly what it means. It doesn't matter if you keep the adds from "reaching" Draygun; after about 60-70 seconds he absorbs all the adds, wherever they are. We had pulled Draygun to the door, and then mezzed the adds when they spawned so they wouldn't move to him (and of course to make it easier to tank them down). After about a minute, any adds still standing simply despawned, and we saw this emote:

When he absorbed more than one (ouch) all the emotes came at the same time, even though the adds didn't spawn quite all together. I didn't see any emotes indicating the adds had spawned, so the exact timing is hard to pin down.
Oh, and it felt like even after we wiped the first time and let him reset, he kept the extra powers. We exited and restarted the instance for the third try.
