For those /loc inclined people like myself, he should spawn in the cave labeled "Rock People Lair", the farthest left entrance.
My method was fairly easy. Requires nothing more than the spells:
Vulka's Lullaby
Vulka's Chant of Flame
and the AA:
Fading Memories
1) Mez all the adds, this does require you running around.
2) Pull Cristoc Bonethug AWAY from all the mobs, very far away.
3) Cast the Chant on Cristoc
4) Fading Memories
Now all the mezzed mobs should be far enough away to avoid aggro, and Cristoc should come after you when Chant tics.
From there, for me at least, level 72 bard, 15.5k hps with Cred rk2, 2.2k AC, and 1743 ATK, and a T1 Journeyman cleric merc set to efficiant, it was basically straight melee twisting Erollisi's Cantata RKII, War March of the Mastruq, Composition of Ervaj, and Storm Blade. I burned Funeral Dirge, Song of Stone, Deftdance Discipline, and Puretone Discipline. Merc ended at about 70% mana.
Hope this helps :)

Fairly easy fight at level 74 702aa. Max hit was 492 with CA18 and CS16 and 15.7k 2468ac bazaar geared/buffed.
Pulling method I used for Cristoc was using Whispersong of Veshma Rk. II. Lulled all the thugs and Belowed Cristoc. Cristoc and one thug came, mezzed the thug and ran back to fade. Cristoc then aggroed back onto me when recasting Aura of Insight.
Just sat there and auto attacked, slowed when needed to. Used one level 70 HoT potion towards the end, forgot to turn off auto attack when Cristoc enraged. Burned Song of Stone, Dance of Blades, Caco, Funeral Dirge and Shield of Notes. Use Shield of Notes towards the end because he seemed to steamroll me harder than in the beginning. This can be easily duo'ed.

He himself hits a 2.2k tank ~600s max and his buddies hit about 500s max. not that hard, me 68 bard baz equiped and 2 2.0 monks along with a hydra clr took them all down at once with barely any healing.
A strategy i found that waseasy and worked was for you being the bard to spawn cristoc and the mercernaries and then go aggro them and highsun cristoc, which may take a few tries with his magic resist, and have some people kill him while you kite the 5 adds or just fade them. then once named is killed go loot your piece.
Will this guy despawn, and if so how long after you pop them?
