No, modifiers do not stack. Which ever is the highest will take effect. So SS 1 and SS1 will net SS 1.
Drops Greater Rune also.

yes, this is a single group trial. 15 minutes, kill them before they kill you. wave of 4 mobs at a time, some mezzable, some not. think 5 waves, 3 minutes apart. kill them fast enough, you get a short medbreak. Boss spawns, kill him, you win. yay.

When you do it as a raid it drops a piece for anguish, when as a group its a different trial entirely, same name, but is basically just done for loot, as well as raising you resist caps for eac hsingle group trial you win.

I've seen the Staff drop twice, Eyepatch once, and I've only heard of the Girdle dropping (rarely). There are rumors that there can be a Greater or Glowing Rune rarely, but I haven't seen one yet.
