Should note that he also sees invis - and is soloable unslowed at 75 (though at that level, you won't need his runes as much =)
The earring is definitely his common drop, along with a rune.

Got a greater rune from Granitesmash this morning(12.Dez 04). Killed him 8 times today, dropped everytime the earring and got 6 runes ( 2 minor, 1 lesser, 2 normal, 1 greater ). Still trying to get the 10 AC augment, but this thing must be his rare drop. Very easy camp, killed him with two people, 70 Pally and 70 Necro was enough, but always start with a dispell to get rid of his haste buff.
Edit: Short update, I have spent again some more days here and after 20 various 66-68 runes I was not able to see another greater rune dropping. 69 runes are dropping, but very very rare.

Can confirm he does drop the Glowing Muramite Rune. Got mine yesterday, my first one, off of him.

This is a good mob to camp if you are looking to collect some runes. First off, he is easy to get to . He is on the hillside on the way to the warrior epic area. Secondly ,he is an easy kill. With a slower and a cleric, and myself (paladin) we have no trouble killing him. He spawns about every 16-20 minutes, and i have seen him drop Greater runes a couple times now (altho never a glowing). He also has a chance to drop some very nice loot , including the earring, runes, and the stone of ire. His PH's are usually a baleful stoneworker or transmuted stoneworker . Normally this mob can be camped along with the Dragorn Labourer near the statue. There are Nocs and Dragorns that roam the path between the two , but they are easy enough to single pull, and have a long enough respawn time that you should easily be able to clear both named/ph's in a cycle.

This mob is cake, drops the earring all the time, and muramite runes are a common drop from him

Pretty weak mob, killed him with 9k ranger tanking. Level is incorrect, mob was blue to me at 68 so is 67 or lower.
