I solo this guy at least 2 or 3 times a week with my necro.. Lvl 70 with spells up to 68, and a few 69's. He summons, about every 5 sec, is snareable, and can easily be tap-tanked. Not a ton of HP, about equal to any Murk. Drops an assortment of junk.. Great practice for RidgeRunner, which is also easily soloed all day long by a necro.

I don't know about Solo, but I duel box him on a regular basis without a problem. 70 Beastlord and 70 Shaman.

Across the first bridge to the left, through the first archway. There are usually two mobs on the other side of the archway, an ukun of some sort, and a kyv of some sort. If you see just one, that means the second has not popped (yet) It will :~)
At the second archway, are two more, again, usually 1 ukun, and 1 kyv. However, at THIS archway, there are 2 Dragorns on the other side of the archway which WILL aggro along with any attempts to pull either the kyv or the ukun.
Pixt Trent (or his kyv heartpiercer PH) pops in between these two static spawns at the archways, and wanders between the two sets of "guards". He summons and sees through invis. Pack one heck of a wallop, and is not tethered. He'll chase ya right to the zone.. But will re-pop to place upon one's zoning out. He and his PH are on an approx. 20 min. timer.

Spawned 4 times in a row for me today - could be 5 havent gotten to next spawn yet - 2 lesser runes, 1 minor rune, 3 cloaks, 1 wristband, 1 glowing arrowhead

Going on my 5th ph atm, I wonder if this guy still spawns here. I will keep going for awhile and post any new information I come across.

Yes - he still spawns where used to be. I killed him there yesterday evening.

Oh he definately spawns. Got him twice today. No runes though just Silverine Wrist Guard and Cloak of the Grey Mist.

Can this guy be snared or rooted? Just wondering what kind of army I need to bring along to take this guy out. I'm sure the Gilded Drakeguard is a rare drop but it sure would be nice on my arm if it did drop. Thanks for help in advance.

Can be rooted and slowed - tried to solo him with my 67 shammy. Got gate off between the bashings.

Yes, snareable (65 nec)....resisted first try, but 2nd cast stuck. Didn't attempt root. Easy kill duoing w/ 70 mage: Lay dots, FD, recast a couple dots, and bam! Proud owner of Gilded Drakeguard and rune.
Don't know about you but if I lay dots and fd all damage stops on mob till I get back up from fd.

The original poster was talking of duoing with a mage, of course the mage pet was most likely tanking, so when the necro FD, the mage pet had aggro, which causes dots to work properly.

Named mobs all generally see invis, I have seen very few that don't, although there are a couple I know of in WoS.
Watch out also for nameds that con indifferent, but still see invis. They might alert mobs who are agro to you, to your presence. I think I may have seen that happen once or twice, or it may have been something else.

If youre invis, and u want to know if a mob can see invis or not. Con it. If its anything other than indifferent then it can see u

Does this mob see invis. I was on a CR tonight and I could swear he saw through and killed me. Either that or the Ukun on other side of rock did.

Not quite sure of the exact local. but if u go to the first bridge from DS zone in and hang a left and go through the the first little arch there he should be just ahead by some rocks. u have to go throgh a kyv heart peircer and a dog lookin thng. and carful not to agro the 3 other kyv's and another dog lookin thing past him
