I don't know about other people's experience but this was the most ridiculous of them all.
I hailed Scout Husman and then said the trigger phrase to him. This was then followed by a wait of over 40 minutes before Grimling Colonel spawned at -1028, 842, 21.
Approximately 5 minutes after Colonel was killed Grimling General spawned.

I can confirm that you can use two eerie medallions from the colonel to do combine. I never saw the general and had tracking toons with me both times I took out the colonel, so no, the general is not directly spawned by taking out the colonel. The only problem with this is I am not sure how long the spawn timer is on the colonel as I got him the first time then waited until the next day to try again.

If I may interject here, this mob is for the Beastlord epic 2.0 not 1.0 nor 1.5 :) this guy was simple a few dispells (i use Nature's Entropy Rk II) and got lucky (pfft. I am a ranger :)) Lvl. 76 rangers can take this sucker down, but it is an intense fight for them...You must stay on him. Don't let him have any kind of breathing room. My only advice for the little ones in those stories, If it's red, go find someone that is more red teehee!!! My lvl 80 warrior took this guy down quick fast and in a hurry for a friend of mine :)

Heh Heh i tried to kill it w/ 56 Sk, pulled it to guards and let it kill them, but then it summoned me and i died =P

my pet killed it self buffed ~ haste, proc, tob AA, slow proc, 1.5 click
I was unbuffed at 8.4k, 2.1k, with ~300 aa, and 1.5. Owned this guy, weak lifetaps, just chain stun and self- HoT. He summons also :)

Wish i read up on him before now. I saw Grimling Colonel walking down a path and was red to my little 35 kitty beastlord. Figured it was like the veterans so I launched my pet at it as I tried to slow. Resisted it 3 times. Hit me with a 500dd life tap. Hit me for 491 a few times and that was all she wrote. Can we say Oops. lol.

My litle BST was camping Arisis and than he stood there,VERY red to kitty (he lvl 56)well me send pet in and huhhh it went fast,pet died and me ran off to cave,me thought i would log on my clr to takehim out (lvl 70)but he he,i was wrong,he couldnt do it either,but than the guards near the cave attacked him and down he went,but he is very tough,he killed 1 guard,that the way my kittygot Medallion,but to takehim out,you realy need a strong group.

He is not for Beastlord epic 1.0, he is for epic 2.0. The medal is one of 2 that are needed, the Grimling General drops the other.

Just killed Colonel and General for epic and max hit to me with 1110ac was 491 on both, and they only landed that once each. For the most part their hits were arouns 210 with very few higher then that, once slowed they hit slowly and tend to try and cast alot. Did not land many spells, but both managed to land their 500 HT/LT a few times. Once slowed (mostly slowed that is) they are easy to kill, soloed with 4.9khp self buffed hp and 1110ac.
P.S. yes they both rage and summon, other then that, not hard to kill

very true, not too hard at all. 65 mage using air pet with just summoned toys, didnt know what to expect, and dropped him to 20% just by burning my mana up with my 65 nuke. Definatly a solo kill mob for the BL's epic, partner if you want the company. I cant say anything about hits or spells since I was casting from a distance with air pet tanking. Would guess this would be a cake walk with a cleric.

just some rough figures, He appeared to hit near 600, cast a 500dd lifetap, summons, and enrages near-death. And drops 'an Errie Medallion'. I found him around the Vah Shir Fort near Hollowshade Moor, close to the neighboring Grimling camp, standing but may wander.

Came across this mob while running through to AC. Conned DB to myself (65 mage) and 62 druid. Killed and looted an "Eerie Medallion". Magic item, no drop. Not lore. Looted another one off the "Grimling General" I found & killed later. Identify reveals "A medallion touched by dark magic" on both.
Since its a new mob I am thinking its for some epic.
