This guy was up when i ran in RCoD with my 66 mag & 69 clr. Pulled him on cleric with mark of righteous to the top of the hill.. Sent mag pet in, cast pious elixir, sat back let pet get good aggro and chain nuked it to death.. Used about 30-40% mana on both chars (6k mana pool on cleric, 5k mana pool on mag). Easy enough..
Dropped shard and muramite rune.

after killing this guy a few times it seems to me that hes procing on my pet, although i cant tell with all the scroll.

The actual name for the Ph'er is 'an elite ukun deathhound. Killed him last night with a 69 dru, 69 enc, 68 wiz, and 70 pally. His ukun chains DD proc does 700 DD (higher than the usual 550 or so on others) so be ready for that. Dropped the glowing stone of expulsion both times and one lesser and one reg muramite rune. Hits for around 730 max with having both ID5 and LR5 AA points. Hope it helps and good hunting.

tried him with a 70 nec 68 chanter. first attempt snare dint land necro down mez dint land chanter down, second attempt snare landed ignored pets summoned and smack, third attempt argo'd pops that respawned and smack. after some very nice clerics in GH went back solo (68 chanter) and started charming random mobs around him until i got a tank version. buffed pet sent it in tashed/slowed/crippled/nuked (did about 9k in dmg) runed pet until i was 20m and still only took him to 50%. any info on how to solo this guy would be great.

When I'm soloing I never rune the pet, I always rune myself instead (and just stand next to the mob). Self rune is much more mana-efficient.
Ethereal rune: 500 mana for 1950 dmg absorb
Rune of Salik: 500 mana for 1105 dmg absorb
You said you buffed pet, so I'm sure you had haste on it. Throw some mage toys on it too.. Umm other than that not much to say. You only got him to 50% so probably need more help than that. =/
My best advice is to forget soloing him and just bring a cleric along to CH the pet. Solve all your problems. =)

Coming from bloodfields and out of the tunnels go about halfway up the hill and next to a big rock on your left will be a ukun deathhound which is the ph for Kyv Bowhound.
ok i read other stuff an it says "He's extremely close to the entrance. Go out of the entrance area into the open field start walking up the hill. on your left will be a rock with an Ukun there next to it. He's the ph. "
Which entrance if i may ask ? think there are like 3 connectiong zones...Any info will be helpful

Zoning in from the northWEST zoneline in The Bloodfields is the zone where everybody is referring to.
*I made a boo-boo and posted northeast before. I usually port into Bloodfields and I've always thought of the direction towards RCoD as north. My bad.

Yes, he summons like a mother.
My mule was very happy when i fed it this.
Killed 7 or 8 times and dropped it once.

This guys model is incorrect in game. If you pull him, you will get hit with Ukun chains, additionally, he drops items an ukun would have. He is supposed to be a Bow*HOUND* of a Kyv, not a Kyv with a cool title. That is why you are getting Ukun things.
