Wildspirit Tear I just Got this today (thankfully with wizzy who did it before) I kept taking locs to try to find the right spot. Mob spawned about +68, +8.
A large room with a stone hut, and a large lake with a water fall in room. not far from WW zone line. 2 enthralled buthars spawn in the stone hut. Mob spawns a couple crevices to the right of stone hut (if you are looking into the hut) You can also know you are in the right room because you will see the Monk 1.5 NPC sitting on the far side of the lake. About a 25-30 min timer.

Killed today after ~3hours of killing/camping. Spawned at point listed above (-62,-87). I am mostly baz geared, 68 Bst. Ended fight with 79%, used one heal pot and bestial fury disc. Hope this helps someone.

Spawned for me and my friend near loc -62, -87. cleared all the walrus' things. took about 2 clears before be poppped. took him down easy with a 76 ranger partially anguish geared and a 65 bl

I nearly soiled myself at how close the fight was, but I just killed him with a 65 bst with 45 aa. I am bazaar equipped, nothing special. Most of the aa are offense (bst frenzy, regen, pet crit). He damn near killed my pet in the last 30 seconds; it seemed as though he hit closer to max damage when he got below 30% health (tripled my pet for 630 right before he ran). But it can be done!

I just did this part of the BL epic 1.5,took maybe 2 minutes with me 69 BL and a 70 mage.just used Scorpion Venom and Sha's Advantage and sent pets in.only had to heal mage pet a couple of times but it never got really low on health.i have 4.3 k hp unbuffed with 4.6 k mana and i only got down to 80% mana.of course the mage was nuking pretty hard too =).now just to get my piece in Po Disease ...grrr

is this guy on a timer and if so what is it and is there any specific spawn points for him cause i have cleaned the zone out for several weeks in a row adn he never spawned.

I killed this guy three times so far and each time he was spawned in a different spot. Each spot was one of the walrus spawn spots though.
As you zone in from Cscar there is one right on the first ledge before you go into any water. Then to the front there are three spawn locations on the ledge to the left front and one to the right front
Next after you clear these, (and a couple seahorses and swordfish that love to add), there are about 5 spawn spots on the upper Western Wastes side of the zone. I regularly pull the ones from around the well on the two side there around the upper pool.
This walrus drops this tear as its only loot every time and is always lvl 65. The PH's for him will always be one of the stationary spawns (not roaming):
Giant Walrus, Massive Walrus, Massive Manatee, Servant Manatee, or Servant Sea Walrus.
If you are killing Ulthorks or Bulthars then that is NOT the correct spawn spot. Although those will roam some and you will need to kill some anyway.

Killed it four times in two days with a full mid 50's to low 60's group. Fairly easy.

Been killing all 6 walrus / manatee ph's near the WW zone for about 10 hours straight now. Had a friend killing the 5 near SG for about 5. I figure we've killed around 250 ph's so far, and no sign of Ailing Walrus.
Any chance this spawn was bugged w/ today's patch? or am i just having really horrible luck?

update : spent close to 14 hours clearing all the ph's back near WW w/o any luck. All in all, i'm estimating 400 or so ph's and not one single Ailing Walrus. Hell , even Fellspine spawned 4 times, WTF is wrong w/ that picture?

it is near the well that leads down to Faleniel for the chanter epic mob we wasted it right before i got my ornate staff topper nobody could loot it though :(
Sorry to hear that, but just wanted to confirm that I saw him up today (3rd Feb). He was one of the pair after the left hairpin turn if you are heading in from WW.
So he still spawns... just not very often..

This is just called Ailing Walrus. There is no "an" in front of its name. It was in the tunnel to the east of the WW zone. Fully slowable.

Ok I have camped this guy for 3 days at least 2 hours each day killing everything in zone what am i doing wrong.....
Duo'd today with 70 monk and 67 BL. Hit high as 860, was slowable.

ok yes it can pop on any manatee or walrus spawn point it seems mine was not at the succor point.
it does not mitigate slow
1st half of the fight only hit me for a max for 339 so i thought the previous posts info was correct, however it can hit for up to 638 it just doesnt hit that hard that often.
got a run of hits on me before i noticed its new max hit took me down to 30% fast so i just chain healed a few then para'ed and hit defensive.
doesnt have extortionate hp's i would have got an accurate figure but i lost track when i had to heal myself. id guess roughly 25k maybe 30k
he does run on low health
either way took him solo with only self buff. i was trying it as a test to see if i needed to bring a cleric along but to my surprise he died.
btw 67 bst with 553 aa's and just over 5k unbuffed hp's

Just killed him a little bit ago. Friend and I cleared all the walrus and manatees. Finally got him to spawn after about 5-6 hours and 20%XP(at lvl 67). Didnt spawn at the succor point, but to the east of it. Only hit for 330 max. Downed by 67 mage and 68 bst.

He sits rightat succor point, so be warned if you try to succor to WW zoneline. He wiped a bunch of my guild before we even knew what had happened. Dropped him with a 55 ranger, 63 pally, 63 monk and a 65 cleric. Also, he agros as soon as you zone into SG from WW.

That "HL - P1 - Q3" is now called Wildspirit Tear. This is one of the items that for the best 1.5 and 2.0 epics particularly the "helm" whatever that is.

just soloed this guy as a 65 bard.Max hit was 1050 and hits pretty fast and summons but is slowable/mezzable. Just kept throwing charmed pets at him til he died, took about 30 minutes =( Grats me on HL - Q1 - P3 woopty

Just killed this guy on Brell august 9, he dropped something called "HL - P1 - Q3", the item was lore/magic/nodrop/norent, casting identify did nothing to help me find out what this was. If anyone knows what its for it would be a big help.
