My level 33 bard sidled up to him, hailed him 'cause he was DB and indifferent, and then the meanie decided to start casting on me! Well, my magic resistance isn't the greatest, and I didn't even get him down more than 99% before I had to run because I was at 33% health. He is immune to changes in run speed and cannot be charmed.

I got owned on my level 32 necromancer...when you get to far away from him he has no range for spells and will come to you to melee...watch out

when i started EQ (when i was a n00b,no comments!!!) my real main ws a ogre sk. for some reason he always ran after me when i passed by and killed me in 2 hits.dunno why. welll anyways i got him back.HAHAHAHAHAHA BIIIITTTTCCCCHHHH

He's standing right in front of the 'bridge' to the island with the Temple of Cazic Thule on it. Looks like a Tae Ew but conned indiff to my OGR BST. Probably Beta Neutral, like most quest NPCs.

I'm a CLR, and at lvl 37 he was somewhat easy to beat solo. However he did force me to use quite a bit of my mana pool.. but with the right spells memmed, you can out cast him very easy. The oddest part of it, just like a cleric.. he does not melee attack you. So if you keep him stunned, you can sit back.. heal yourself.. and keep casting DoT's or DD's on him. It took me about 1.5 mins. to defeat him.
I can also vouch for the fact that he drops nothing. I just killed him for the exp.
