can someone please tell me what i need to do to raise faction with this guy

He is on Coalition of Tradefolk underground. So doing any of the quests for Coalition of tradefolk underground will raise faction with him.
Since I am a rogue I chose to do these 2 and raised the faction with Ping fairly quickly.

I killed him as a 34 DE rogue with my 36 IKS Beastlord friend...on one site it said he was a 35 Merchant, but here it says a 38 merchant...well it explained why he hit so hard.
Why did we kill him?
Well when I was inexperienced, I tried begging off this guy - he killed me for begging the uncharitable plonker ! so revenge.

What exactly do you say To Ping to get him to make a coffin? I hailed him and tried all possible combinations of asking for a coffin but he didn't respond...Do I give him the bones...Just need help... Thanks in advance

I was told you say "What about the coffin.." with the 2 dots but when i tried it it didnt work maybe cause he cons dubious but i dont know how to raise faction with him :(

This is the drink all my PCs carry, instead of a stack of water. A stack of formula 5000 will last you about 10 times as long as a stack of water. Add a stack of fishrolls for food and you want have to worry about food/drink for a very long time.

Ok, what I wanted to know is if any pallys that have gotten their Soulfire have attempted to get this quest spell. After killing Lucan I am now KOS to East and West Freeport and I have heard that it cannot be reversed. So how did you get the coffin from Ping being that he is in West Freeport? Does invis work for this? Could I invis, get the coffin and then zone? Is the coffin No Drop? Thanks for any help =)

True this little guy is in West Freeport but he's out in the fireld before you reach the gate. He's nowhere near any guards so you shouldn't have any problem buying from him or speaking to him for any quests. Now I have no idea what this 49 paladin spell quest is (I'm only aware of his role in the Enchanted Trueshot Longbow quest) but since he's not on Freeport Militia faction I see no problem in getting to or dealing with him even after doing the Soulfire quest.

I had to kill this guy today so i can get get some formula 5000, some newb had trained him to the zone so he had to go down, the factin hit was horrible, so unless you dont mind not being able to bank/shop much less enter freeport i suggest not attacking this guy, yeah he is an easy kill, but one time took me from indifferent to dubious..

Ping might have been upgraded damage-wise, he still has the same HP as before, about 450. Two wizzies casting a couple DD's could finish him off easily. Although I do not know about his magic resistances...

Me and my freind killed this guy on puggith. A orger Shaman witha bad name. Anyway is was really easy. All I had to do was cast flash of light on him then use winters roar. He died in like 2 mins.

I was told the 5000 was a clarity buff. I was low on mana and drank one and my mana certainly went up alot faster than just medding. SHAZAAN 41 pally. Only 5pp per stack...

would it be safe for a rogue to pick pocket him at lvl 22 with skill 115?
I was one day in Freeport, and I saw the message "You will not evade me , practicing_player001!". Read the information at the top of this page, about the "practice dummy", this seems to be totally accurate.
Ping doesent' summon...only 51+ mobs do you frickin n00b. He would own two 25 rangers in a heartbeat. No reason to kill ping as you get no exp or loot. He is also part of the ranger's raincaller bow quest.
Retlon in CB DOES summon. I suggest you think before accusing some of n00bism you hipocrit.

Wow, you guys make this weak NPC look like a God, he has a good amount of HP, he can be killed melee he DOES NOT summon, heh, where you people get this info is beyond me, and he does not give XP or loot......because /gasp, he's a merchant......he's far from lv 53, try 33. And he gives 1 quest, it's for a Paladin lv 49 spell.

While its true he does have low hp, rumour has it that he will parry, riposte, or dodge all melee attacks. This is probably why that mage was able to kill him...

he has 400 hps... i watched my friend lvl 51 mage kill him with a spell that did like 432 damage in one shot.... who cares if the lil gnome summons

I took him out tonight, 26 and 25 rangers. Pretty easy kill. Hard to hit, but his biggest hits were in the 30s. He does summon, and he hits quite fast. He doesn't have a ton of HP, dissapears on death, and gives no exp.

He WILL summon you if he aggroes on you, so I suggest you stay the heck away from him if he is KOS to you.
