anyone have a guide they able to put up of what all is needed to get to her plz? id like to go in and whoop on her sometime.

Solo killed by 90 WIZ (myself!) + J5 cleric merc - Rathe/Karana server on 11/26. WIZ clad in mostly T4 group gear with ~4200 AA.
All ring events were soloed to get key. On Xegony's isle, all static guards were easily pulled, leaving Xegony alone prior to engagement. I killed two waves of mobs to put her @ 80% hp; then burned her down, hailed for a flag, looted & scooted before the train of adds pathed in.

Trioed by an 85 Chanter, 85 Shaman and an 80 Ranger with a tank merc and a cleric merc.
Chanter chain casted Docility for the adds and we just killed any of the named that spawn while the tank merc was on Xegony. Was a little difficult toward the end but when cross dotting the named and Xegony, everything went down steadily.

If u want a challenge try this big lassy. She has to be one of the hardest mobs in the game and she is frickin mean. Every 15 or 20 percent she will spawn a gang of mobs, shes a tricky one but nice in the end(assuming things go ur way).

btw AHR has a pretty mean boobie taunt also , and 4 arms.. talk about distracting !

Few things,
a) We've killed her twice and we've gotten 3 puresteel wraps, one essence of wind, one vest, and one plate greaves mold.
b) This encounter is hard to get down. She spawns waves of mobs every 15% which either come from a north or south "camp". My guild came from doing FR perfect with 0 kills usin <50 people to full raids and wiping quick. We logged in one night first attempt she was down. I sadly missed this raid. Second attempt, first try she was down, 2 deaths total through whole event, pally's were tanking both north adn south camps because we had a lack of warriors.

Well when Omens of War comes out and everyone gets to lvl 70, if she's still con red then you'll know for sure that she's lvl 80. And I don't know but is that a paly I see tanking her? I checked the AF website but after they quit EQ it seems that there member roster isn't available.

anyone have any idea how many hps this bish has? i know when my guild kills her it takes FOREVER. --course there's only 1 tank on her most of the fight. lol just curious. =)

Do you have any idea how this encounter works? There is a reason it takes forever, and I'm pretty sure its not her HPS. The details of why I will not get into.

xegony for dummies:
xegony spawns adds at every 15% of her hp (starting at 99%) have two teams running back and forth to kill the adds until she is at 15% (proberbly at 10% by the time you kill that wave) and engage/dt etc etc..
only tank should stay on xegony, if not theyll get killed by the aa, the fight lasts 40-1 hour or so, so the tank is the only one taking up attention. make sure you assign necro's also to feed lom clerics.
remember to use necro atck debuff, it drops dmg throughout the fight by ~12%
make sure all of the bosses are dead before she dies, or she will port to her tower, aggro the guards, and come back at almost 40% from un aggroed regen.

she pops adds when agrooed, all adds are mezable but named, not rootable or snareable, adds pop every 20pct, he ae is des based, but cureable by rgc or crusaders touch.

Its every 15% but most everything else is right. Also the order of the adds that spawn is random and only 2 are remotely difficult.

this bitch is no joke, she starts out the fight with 5 spider adds, that hit for around 1k each, not shure if its her or the spiders but you can also expect to be silenced, so ER is impotant in the fight, the spiders are mezzable from what i understand.
The Silence is a random proc off of random named if I understand it right. There is also a disease proc with a DD and DoT on it if I remember correctly ... I was too excited to be there and too into reading messages from the leader and healing, etc. to pay a lot of attention to what hits we took.
The AE is the most annoying thing (BTW: Radiant Cure and it seems most any line of "Cure" spell will get rid of it, but unless you have quite a few folks with the cure up you will just get it back on again). When it hit most all of the folks in our group - including the tank - went down about 15-20% and kept going down slower from there, so I assume there was a DD right off and then a DoT.
I was on the adds group keeping the MT alive on the adds. If we got lucky the Ranger, Bard, etc. that was taking the kiting duties got the adds to follow them instead of coming straight at the group, buying time for mezzes etc.

She quads for 2250 or so without defensive and does a 1k ae every 30secs that does a nice number on spell casters...

I know only a few guilds have killed her, but I must say Afterlife is still the best--they do it for the love of the game, not like some sellout guild that only wants to brag. Well sure Afterlife does plenty of bragging, but they damn well earn that right. 8P Check out www.afterlifeguild.org to see those uber players in action. 8)
