Treasure Sorter Neiben

ok everyone, this is a random spawn that can pop up anywhere there is a "a shady treasure sorter" place holder. I ran through the zone killing every PH I could find until he popped and when he did he wasn't at any place mentioned in the notes here. So just kill all the PH's until he shows up. Took about an hour but was a very easy spawn.

at loc n163 n554 there are some boards you can use to jump into the back courtyard, where there is an additional PH for Neiben. I could not find a way out without evac or gate.

edit: i was hoping to find the ground spawn for wiz 1.5 epic back there, no joy.


ok got prismatic crystal from the loc indicated n87 n 875 off Neiben, not as ground spawn. took a couple hours of PH killing.

Looked around dulak for a few hours for the ground spawn of the wizzy 1.5 piece, no luck. was killing the "a shady treasure sorter"s for fun and loot, when he spawn. I cleared the room around him first, medded to full, put up Barrier of Force off the 1.0 staff then hit him twice with white fire and he was down. On the first Nuke he summoned, and i was able to get the second nuke off before he could break barrier of force.

lvl 65 wiz with ok gear, but not much better than baz bought. Also have 1st tier crit aa's and Increased Damage 4 on my belt.

Since the last patches (sep and oct 2004) Neiben is able sometimes to summon players and become a raging troll when HP are near 10%

spawn times plz i need spawn time i dont wanna be there all day aand all night looking for this guy IM A WIZARD ON THE EDGE!!!!! i hate camping stuff. This guy has the wizard epic 1.5 cystal. needed for a combine in a satchel. hope this helps you King and Queen Wizards out there.

I've seen him spawn three times inside the warehouse with the attached L-shaped courtyard, & also directly across the street from the L-shaped courtyard, right outside the warehouse. As others have noted, his placeholder is "a shady treasure sorter".

I have seen the Repugnant Boots from him 3 of those 4 times, the Blackened Glass Eye the 4th. I've looted the Abalone Ear Stud 3 times -- gave one away, have 2 more on 2 different chars -- but never from Neiben; each time, it's come from one of the "trash" mobs inside the warehouse. My BST alt has the Blackened Eye, & it works nicely for him at 17th level, even if the stats are borked.

I like to set up camp in that little L-shaped courtyard (straight across from Gunthak zone-in, right near the dock to Dandolak's & Lady D), set my pet on guard, & then begin pulling from the mobs inside the attached warehouse. If nobody else is camping in the area, I also pull from the warehouse across the street, & any wandering guards or dock patrollers that pass by. Sometimes, if I'm bored, I'll even pull the two Oceancrasher guards. The L-shaped courtyard is perfectly safe to med & summon in; nothing spawns in there or paths into it, & you can even go AFK for long stretches at a time, if you want.

Dulak's Harbor is simply heavenly for pet classes.

I have killed this guy like 14 or more times ear stud drops off of normal mobs as well sorters storage workers and attendants have mainly recieved the boots looted the glass eye twice is advanced healing II but only used by ranger pali bst clue to spawning him just kill treasure sorters he can spawn in any of there spots

Last night we had this punk on track, and he was in a courtyard behind the warehouse and the tavern around the corner. We could not get to him, nor lock on him.

Anyone know how to get back to that courtyard?

I have camped the Storage Area near Dandolak and have got him to spawn about 6 times. I have always got Repugnant Boots on him everytime.
