This guy isnt as bad now with spells like either shield and spellsheld, which stack. Instead of getting wacked for 2K, only getting wacked for about 3-500 is a heck of alot better. When you start adding up the regen, oak/ Po9, and SD; life becomes much easier.

This guy is a real arse beater heh. max hit is 3540dbl and 2000hp aoe dd. Not easy. But fun.

Due to lack of tanks, I had to MT this one last night. Highest hit I had on me was 2756. Raid buffed I was only running 11156hp and 1956AC. I did not have furious available at the start. I put up a different disc, the lvl 66 rune disc. It seemed to work pretty good. Right before it ran out, my furious came up. Threw that up, then defense. worked pretty good until the lack of healers and patchers not doing their job so I dropped when he hit 3pct. First time MTing any minis in POF.
Did a ranger step into the now empty tank spot at mob health of 3%, and Weapon Shield him while the rest of the raid finished him off?

Blazzax is probably the hardest mob in pofire in exception of Fennin.

General Reparm 2.0 is much more difficult then this wuss.
I dont think there was a general Reparm 2.0 in March.....

Posted: Feb 01 2004 at 12:28 AM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) killing a gm isnt hard with an aoe. they have roughly 3k hp at 60 (FROM ARMORS MOSTLY) and aren't buffed as such. they have effects ( rabid heal and invunerability .. etc) but they cant buff themselves with virtue or such. watched a 58 guide die in one shot from this guys aoe as he watched us to see if we was exploiting.

On this guys difficulty - Since he is slowable the melee isnt as bad as you think, even though yes its in the 3500 range. What will kill you is the AoE, or more specifically the range of the aoe. No way to hide from it, got to burn this guy down fast, will having MGB and group heals close together. On a char with 500 fire resists, he got hit for an average of 900 from the AoE, so get as many bards as you can.
