So if you fight these guys more than a few feet from their spawn point they will gate back to their spawn point once they start to lose... and when they do gate back they get about 20% health back... something to keep in mind when soloing these guys... cause after they gate they come charging back at you... and they bring anybody they pass with them...

hunted these in group for 5 hours and picked up 3 ethereal parchments but no spectral. is spectrals pretty rare altogether?
On the side note i did manage 4 yellow xp and aaxp was half bub per kill with a group of 65+. Plenty mobs to pull too so prepare for nonstop

These are shaman casters, and they do gate. In my limited experience, though, they do not summon (some of the other giants do) and the giants are spread far enough apart that major trains when one gates aren't a common problem. Many of the giants in Bastion of Thunder are mezzable, which helps quite a bit.

Seems like every time i would get one on the ropes it would gate away back to its spawn point and train anybody there back to me...
