I found one yellow to me at level 25, so they go up to at least level 26.

would my Beastlord somewhere in the mid 20's be able to solo these heretics?

The heretics drop "dirt soiled robe" - anyone know what this might be used for?

the little asterisk by the name Dirt Soiled Robe makes me think its the same as the newbie robes paineel necros get when they turn in their scroll thing
These guys are 22 to 25 shadowknights. I noticed that a number of things did not attack them, so that may be false. I usually found the invaders around -839 by 31 or near the river.

I have solo'd with a druid here from low 20's to 35 and i have gotten 4 plus sashes. Only once did i get a head band. From what i can tell and will confirm from the posts before me. The Heretics spawn 1 every hour and there will only be 2 up at any given time. From the time of its death another will spawn in 1 hr. ALL the mobs in the zone will attack them and they will attack anything in the zone. I do have to say they have a level range not 30-30 as they are now light blue and green to my level 35 druid. I will have to say out of all the ones i have killed they are in the southern side of the zone, in the grass area a lot and to the south west side of the zone between the warrens zone and the city in the rocky flats there.
The info i have gathered is off the Tribunal server.

Correction or clarification to what I said about the spawn times. They are completely 2 independent spawns from each other and only spawn at same time if both spawning heretics die at the same time. Each spawn will spawn 1 hour from the death of that independent spawn.

This zone is made for RANGERS if you ask me.....I have spent MONTHS in Stonebrundt....I have done all of the quests so often that I have ALLY faction with these guys....and Improving your faction with KITTY CITY helps your faction with the CATS and TIGERS in the zone....NONE of them aggro on me anymore.....and I have soloed all the titans and killed all the named mobs and gotten every kind of loot in zone....from level 25 to 46th lvl as a Ranger.
So I speak with some authority and a lot of experience....These guys have 2 spawns that pop every RL hour. WITHOUT fail. In a 24 hour period you can get 48 heads (which is what i do, save up 48 and turn them in all in one night), which will yield anywhere from from 1 to 4 HASTE SASHES....on average....THEY ARE LORE so have friends nearby to hold the extra ones you get or you will lose your reward if another SASH if the QUEST yields a Second one in a row during all your turn ins....if you are lucky you get any sashes....it is very random.....When you kill the heretics or they die by natural causes (everything hates them) start your timer. If you have TRACK up to 200 you can see the whole southern half of the zone, find the midpoint of the south half of zone, and hit track, find them kill both if they are both up at same time (if you are lucky) them LOG OFF for one hour...LOG ON hit track find them kill them LOG OFF, SAVE your buffs that way.... and you wont miss any unless they pop on a mob that kills them really fast. USE FEAR ANIMAL to get rid of the mobs while you kill it.
They spawn anywhere in the SOUTH half of the zone from the western edge of the zone to the eastern edge of the zone. North as far as the base of kitty city, and as far south as the half way between the lake and the edge of the swamp leading into the hills. It is totally random although if you kill them fast enough they tend to REPOP in the same spot as the last time, then if you let them wander around first before killing them.
THE harm touches range from 24th lvl to 28th lvl on HERETIC invaders. JELQUAR THE SOULSLAYER is 34th to 36th lvl according to HT damage...and is really tough version of the HERETICS and drops a HEAD also, resists snare and root if you are even con to 40th lvl a lot but not always.
RANGERS TRACK by CON and look for them quickly by learning what level the other mobs are in level groups, and scan quickly to that level to find them, DO NOT track by distance until you have got them on track by CON FIRST. If you are Druid or BARD (you track by latest spawn that is good if you know the last time kill) or low level Ranger you will also have to run around zone to 2 or 3 locations so you make sure you get them in your track radius, USE the docks and KITTY city and the kobold camps to check your track radius's and compare your LOC's to verify ranges, and then run a pattern to cover the whole south half of zone.
Get your MR up so you resist FEAR, and HT. Have Fear or FEAR ANIMAL up to get rid of adds while you kill them. If they are fighting a KITTY person from KITTY city you best outdamage it and get the last hit in to get the kill. DONT HURT THE CATS, you need their faction to do the quests.
AND if you do not have faction enough to do any of the quests in kitty city DO NOT BOTHER, there is no known way to fix your faction with them so you can do any of the quests. AND DO NOT ILLUSION or the cats will attack you ON SIGHT. No wolf form or chanter illusions. Kitty people wander the whole zone.

I can't see these as being lvl 30. I was soloing these throughout my 20s before I finally got my haste sash at 30. These were blue to me most of the time; probably 23rd or 24th level.
True about having 2 spawn in a row. The biggest problem I had was killing one, then not being able to get to the second before someone(thing) else killed it.

Hi,belhade
I'm doing this quest and i wanted to know if the heretics are trackable from the little camp of them because i was standing there for around a hour on halloween and they never came up on track (yes i was refreshing track constantly) also my tracking skill is around 70-80

I leveled here from 36 to 43 and was initially very lucky with this quest, getting 3 sashes on the first 4 turn-ins. Then things averaged out with about 30 straight headbands. I still come back here to farm cat pelts and was lucky to get two sashes in a row last week. I would guess my overall batting average would be 7 out of 50. I used to keep track of when spawns occurred and the position I found them to notice that they can spawn at any time of day, there is no time of day they prefer. As for position, I usually try to periodically wander near n2000,0 to track the whole area that I've seen them in. Only once found one north of the city, probably spawned down south and wandered north without running into a tiger. It seems like about 20% of the time a second heretic will spawn after killing one. I don't think it is conditional on the first heretic being alive for a lengthy period of time. Don't bother with this quest without a tracker, ranger preferred. Check out the ranger's glade web site for a map of spawn locations. Basically anywhere south of the city.

I've lost count of how many times I've done this (probably 40 or so), it is very easy to run around the lower part of the zone when I port someone in or come to Dulak for dye components. I've gotten the sash exactly once (about number 24 or 25), but the headband sells pretty well in the Bazaar and the male heretics also drop shields and weapons which sell for a few pp each. I'm still doing the quest at 56 since it only takes a few moments and eventually I'll get another sash. Also occasionally I track the named SK whose head works for this quest and who occasionally drops a very nice sword. For what it is worth to you all, I usually find 2 invaders so I agree there are 2 separate spawns.
Slay many.

These are the subject of a quest. Typicaly they spawn in a pair one after the other. I have completed the quest twice receiving the headband both times. There is always hope for the swiftclaw sash. For the Quest write up follow this link.
