Must be in a group to click up. Had me scratching my head for a few minutes wondering what I was doing wrong this time (had done for two monks previously). Popped a merc to click portal and then suspended.
Did it today with 4 lv70(shd,shm,mnk,wiz) and 2 mercs (2 healers). We don't have any uber stuff, all defiant armor with bazaar weapons.
The key to win this guy with small and low level group is to land the slow on it as much as you can.
He rampages a lot but doesn't do much damage on our shd tank after being slowed, average damage is around 500-700.
Monk got the symbol needed for 1.5. Yep, we did the normal version of 7th hammer not the epic triggered one.
You must at the right point of epic to be allowed to loot the symbol, try to loot it before Vortix revealed himeself in PoT and getting Kaiaren's Diary will cause the trouble.
And the monk need to pass those trials to acquire Mark of Justice himself, do these in order and don't skip anything.

You can indeed see it on his loot, however when you try and loot it says 'You are not allowed to loot item: Symbol of Order'

Killing 7th atm on Trakanon..we'll see if he drops the actual symbol. (Trying without trials). If he doesn't i'll be flagging and triggering one ! =/
It died for the first time today, April 10, 2011, in the nearly eight year history of Al'Kabor, in an open server raid. It took this long to get enough people keyed, but it was worth the wait. It was really great to see all the guilds working together to make this happen. In particular, Sinnder from Destiny and Jian from Dark Conquest should be applauded from organizing the event, but there were many others involved in helping with all the trials over the course of months and years.
It dropped the Mantle and the Pendant.
Edit: For clarity, on Al'Kabor every single person in the raid must be keyed. The maximum PC level on AK is 65. The server started in July of 2003, from a clone created in October of 2002. Molo'd him as a lvl 81 monk with a cleric merc. My gear consisted mostly of the new lvl 80 attunable HoT gear. He was easy as pie.

can monk epic piece be looted if you are not keyed but 85'd in zone ? some say it can but heard peeps say it cannot.

Today I 4-boxed this guy with group geared lvl 80 TSS armor and SoF accessoried characters. Warrior, Monk, Beast and Cleric. All were kept busy but, it was never in doubt. Finished with 20% mana left on cleric. Never got the mob slowed. Only dropped the monk 1.5 epic item.

did this today with a mini raid of 15.
2 Clr's, Dps and tank.
Tank = 16.4khp / 3.4kac unbuff
max hit was around 700...hit reasonably fast tho, as they couldnt land a slow.
took us around 10mins, only dropped the monk epic item.

SoF has made a big difference to this guy - he's now soloable by a group-geared shaman, albeit it takes 45 minutes or so!
Max hit was 1135 on a shaman with 17% shielding but the key was the new Turgur's Swarm AA; the Seventh Hammer is fully slowable and once you've got slow to land the rest is just a matter of endurance.
Didn't drop the shoulders I was after, but I'll be back!

Worked with a monk to get his 1.5, got the six trials done (was fun), formed a little raid and formed in the room with the tribunal. We took out the seventh hammer, but it was a struggle. Here are a few lessons learned:
- to get people into seventh hammer room, have them form on one of the platforms. Have the person with the mark of justice hold it in their hand and press the 'use' button ('u' by default) to click through. Everyone else in group must not click.
- Mana drain is bad - the mob has a LOT of HP and AEs a mana drain dot
This is best countered with vet awards, shammys, uberness (a good tank is a must) and other mana recovery methods
- This mob has a LOT of HP (at least 1M HP)
- AE ramp as well. NP for a cleric with VoV, is a problem for everyone without HoTs
- Even old mobs can drop nice junk. He dropped seven items - all of them were looted
- To confirm he DOES drop symbol of order. No idea if it's every time or not, but he dropped it for us

How can you tell if this guy is normal or triggered without actualy picking a fight with him and dying?

was one grouped on 7/19/05 cleric/pally/warrior/ranger/sk/shaman long fight time/qvic geared~ had 3 jesters poped for help with mana sk me tashed with tash stick for shammy to get slow off

forgot to mention the 3 jesters LOL .....dont think we wouldve made it w/o the 3 full mana bars i got from them
REALLY fun fight. sham had to slow and reslow many times... pally on rgc for mana dot and groul heals from ae ramp...defensive hit by war 3 times during fight i think....ranger burned trueshot around 50%... sk harm touched late in fight... sk also had tash stick.... and im not quite qivc geared yet.... the others are.

We killed him last night, June 22, 2005. on Quelleous server. We were UNABLE to pull him out of the room. Monk tried to aggro and click out of the room, it wasn't possible to click out once you have aggro. Also, as far as who needs the Mark of Justice (which is acquired by winning all 6 trials) you need one person per group. With the latest Raid Abilities of locking the raid and swapping players wherever you like - really only 1 person needs one and the raid leader can flop you from group to group clicking them up.
When you first enter the 7th hammer room, he is NON aggro - just standing in the center of the trials platform surrounded by 6 or so tribunals of justice. So there is no hurry clicking up. Once you are all up and buffed you will have to make your groups. Each group will absolutely need a healer with RC3 (Radiant Cure 3) and group heals. The way to start the 7th Hammer battle is to merely attack him. Then the AOE's start and he becomes KOS and away you go.
This mob is NOT perma rooted - you can move him around the room. It is NOT possible to fall off the platform so you don't need to watch your step.
7th Hammer is slowable (partial) but he has fairly high MR so be sure to have all your casters debuff him with evereything you have. He Cannot be Mana Tapped and is Pure Melee. I was hit here and there (not main tank) and he hit me for around 900. He does rampage fairly often so be sure to slow and cripple him.
This mob has a Butt Load of Hit Points so be ready to settle in for a long fight.
We had 4 groups - cleric in each group - a couple shamans, 1 enchanter (me) and several melee.
The tribunals around the room do not aggro, but they DO indicate when an AOE is about to go off. They chant something and spin their hammers and then the AOE goes off. I would say that there are 90 second intervals between each AOE (there are two). One aoe is a DD that recuces your HP, the other is a DOT / Mana Drain that dispels your Clarity and replaces it with a lightning Icon Dot. The Instant the Clarity DOT happens, you have a cleric or druid or shaman cast RC3, and it will dispel the DOT, and I would use my c4 clicky pants for my group and single target the clerics with c6. It is essential to dispel the mana dot immediately because the RC3 will have JUST reset by the time it is cast again, also this is such a long fight that you need all the mana you can get.
Keeping the tank alive was never really an issue. I 2Box a cleric who was in the main group in charge of keeping Garmok alive. Our only problem was when all the shamans had died from the AOE's and I didn't realize that the slow had worn off, and I had to Chanter Slow him, which took a few tries. But once we got him slowed again, it was off to the races and we eventually won.
Monks will be needing this mob now since he drops something for their Epic 1.5, so expect to see more guilds killing him.
I have no idea on the respawn, probably 30 minutes like the other trials, but I have no real idea.
Also - keep all healers and casters just out of melee range - his Rampage is nasty and can wipe out the poor casters with 1 round.

You haven't been able to pull him out of his room for more than 7 months from the time you posted. The 7th hammer is a 3day spawn like everyother PoP pre-elemental god.
The rest is pretty good.

Not exactly sure how it happened, but I did see a raid on this guy pull him all the way up to the GY. Scared the hell out of the folks grouping the exit. So, apparently there is a way to get out of his chamber without killing him--further, there's a way to bring him with you.
On another note, it has been mentioned several times that "only one person in the group" has to have the Mark of Justice to get "the entire group" in to his chamber. Does that mean only one person in the raid, or does that mean that every group within the raid needs to have a flagged person?

i just got my 6 trials done. from what i have learned after this is that only 1 person in the grp needs the Mark of Justice to get the whole grp in the chamber (have tested and it worked).
second we did the trials back to back to back. the reset time on winning 1 is 30mins on the trial u beat so if u rotate u can get all of them in like 2hrs easy.
just what i seen in the last 30mins.

Downed him for monk epic 2.0 piece with 3 groups of time/GoD geared peeps. Loads of hps, need Cures for mana drain in every group, AE rampage so need to keep stupid melee healed. was a long 10min or so fight..like I said LOTS of hps for 3 groups to take down even for well geared people. We did have 2 druids and 1 cleric in a CH chain and it worked out well. IS SLOWABLE. HE is highly Magic resistant, but Turgurs does stick..jsut keep casting, GL

Opinion - He's definitely the hardest of the Tier1 boss mobs. You could argue Behemoth maybe, but whereas Behemoth is a 30-40 second fight, this guy is 10-14 minutes. It's a long, controlled style fight because you can't corner him and he AE Rampages quite frequently, so meleeing him is rather dangerous. His AEs are weak and don't go off that often, but Tremor of Judgment WILL interrupt your casting most of the time.
Another thing to note, despite being a monk, he blocks, dodges, parries, and ripostes. He does it all, but he blocks more than anything.

One correction on This, We were able to corner him just get a agro on the tank have the tank back up and the Mob will follow as long as no one else has engaged till the mob is cornered

It doesn't go off that often, but it's definitely a rude awakening when it goes off mid-CH because it has a tendancy to interrupt or simply stop your casting. We were just fooling around on this guy using a three-cleric five-second rotation going, and with his dps (~550dps), there wasn't any room for error. Tremor of Judgment went off and the CH rotation completely stopped. Tank died and the rest went downhill from there.

I will try to answer some questions...
Yes you have to do all 6 trias and then /say "I seek Knowledge" to get the Mark of Justice. You DO NOT need all 6 marks on your person.. in the bank is fine when you say the script.
Once you have the Mark of Justice you must hold it on the cursor, hold the cursor over the blue portal in 1st person (3rd gave lots of trouble) and type "U".. thats worked the best.
Inside he is indifferent until you /say I am ready to pass judgement"
He AE rampages, max hit with Stonewall is 700's, 1110 w/o. He is NOT slowable. From what I saw he did not summon.
There are 2 AE's... each every minute and a half and they cycle. First one after 90 seconds is the AE knockback stun. Second one after 180 seconds, 90 seconds after the first, is the mana drain. This is curable with Radiant Cure 1 which also has a recycle time of 180 seconds.
Raid force needs to be 40ish depending on Planar Progression...
I dont know if CoH works but I *highly* doubt it.

I would like to know hoe many people you need to kill this guy. I also want to know if everyone know if all the group need to click on the blue circle or if we are all ported inthe group when one click to get out of the Tribunal room. I think thats all for me.

Well, after a LONG time trying to beat all 6 trials in POJ, ( you might know me for my strategy guides on the poj trials), I finally gained access to the 7th hammer tonight. We only had 5 people awake enough to check him out. When you zone in, he is NON kos and standing in the center of a room surrounded by 6 untargettable tribunals. You hail him, and say something like "I am ready to pass judgement"... it's scripted from hailing him. This is what I can tell you about him. He is NOT slowable, hits for around 800, max was 1110 - but that was on my sitting ass, so it was his max hit. He seems to have piles of HP, cuz we lasted over a minute and got him to 99%. The tribunals around the room cast 2 different aoe's every 3 minutes (they only cast 1 at a time). One was an 800 HP knock back, the other SUCKS. The other proc is a 600 or so HP smack - with a lightnight bolt Icon Dot that knocks out your clarity and starts draining your mana.... Luckily I have my C4 pants, but still, this dot sucks. One cast of Radiant Cure 3 knocked out the dot, and I was able to recast c4. Oh, and it doesn't seem like you can leave the area without winning, or gating, cuz the portals close after you start the battle, and the 7th hammer is NOT perma rooted.
Good luck, I'll let you know when we get enough flagged to take 3 groups after him.

So what I want to know is anything that might prepare me. What's his max hit? does he summon help? How often does that spell go off? If you have any info because you have actually fought this mob, thanks in advance for your help. If you heard from a guy, who heard from a guy, who heard from a guild, that this guy's too hard, PLEASE don't waste my time with your nonsense. Perhaps you should try hunting in Crushbone instead, i hear those orcs aren't too tough.

This guy is not all that hard hits for about 1800s and rampages. He is a lot easier then doing the 6 trials to get him. I do not think you have ever done a trial if you think it is easy to get a guild full 6 trials that is like a month of just trials. Also some of these trials are really hard elementle flagged and still die sometimes when backflagging new members trials.

A time guild on my server just got about 36 people flagged in under two hours. If you can make 6 well rounded groups (cleric tank slower 3xAuxilary), you can just do a rotation. 15mins per trial times 6 trials.

Considering that it takes 30 minutes to reset any trial after winning you could only flag 18 people in "under 2 hours" for any particular trial. So, you heard wrong.

The trials are incredibly easy for a group of lev 65s....a group with ave lev 58 (levs 52-62) or so my alt was in the other day almost beat exe (didn't quite have the dps, but no one died)...so the trials are really easy now

I think the trial of flame is by far the most difficult trial, you need really high DPS to complete it. Just finished it up last night thus finishing my 6th trial. Yay.

Once you click into the 7th hammer's chamber, you can only get out by gate, death, etc. There's no clicky to get you out. So you melee types bring a gate potion or a porter. You can also get a CoH out of the chamber.
Also, I haven't tested it yet, but when I zoned in, I got a character flag, so may not need the Mark of Justice on future entries to the chamber.

You still need the Mark of Justice. Its the only way to show the portal that you want to enter the seventh Hammers chamber instead of just leaving the Trial-area.

Just from compairing recast times from my spells and the effect he casts...one would have to conclude that it has a 40 sec recast time...hope this helps and is accurate enough for you.

I would like to ask a couple of questions about this fellow and about how to get a raid together to take this bastard down if anyone has some information that is helpful.
Question #1 - Does CoH work inside the trails rooms? I seriously doubt that it does, but then again I'm not a mage and have not seen it done before. If you have tried with success / failure, let me know.
Question #2 - What is the actual mechanics of entering the 7th hammer's room? Do you have to hail a tribunal and / or say some catch phrase once you have all six marks? When you do, does it port only you into the room or your entire group like the other trails?

CoH does not work in Trials. After you have all six Trial marks, approach any of the Tribunals and say "I seek knowledge". You will get a Mark of Justice.

I've never done anything but the first trial, so I can't help you with questions two and three. As far as question one, though, I know that you cannot CoTH people inside the trials room. Even if you only have five people inside the trials room you cannot do it. I tried once on the first trial when one of our group members got left out on the port.

either you are an idiot, or i'm clueless, but the BOSS of each trial drops the mark as loot, how the hell do you go in, FD and fail and loot the piece? If you kill the boss, you have completed the trial and the only way to get the mark to drop is to kill the boss...explain or get some common sense

If your in the room FD, your don't count as being in the room and another full group can come in. If you stand up though, someone random from the group will get booted out of the room. It's a bug.
Basically, if you fail, you can FD and hang out and hope a group that passes later will let you loot a mark, or organize it to that happens.
I know several people who have gotten flagged this way. And yes, it's cheap. :)

Note to self: See someone FD in the room, tell member who needs mark to loot and destoy until all 6 are gone.

Lol,I was exping here yesterday in the left hall near the door that transports you back to PoT (tranquility),and if you look through the outside wall (by being a halfling,dwarf,shrunk,wolf,bear,etc..)and sit down directly with your head into the wall,you can see the vortex thing where the Seventh Hammer is. =P Try it sometime,no trials required =P Can't target anyone,though.

Yeah you have to do all trials, when you finish them all you get the mark of justice, which is basically a key to let you into seventh hammers room. Cool looking area, but noone kills him because the loot is not worth it. Trial of flame is not "hard" but it's a pita to get the kinks of it down, I think its basically as hard at 65 as execution trial was at 60. But trials are fun, and great exp, so why not?

I just got access to his chambers, maybe even a server first as nobody on Luclin seems to care. Take the trial room, put 3 tribunal members down the left quadrant, 3 down the right, and all the swirly portal things are red now instead of blue and don't go anywhere when you click them. Add one big-ass tribunal-looking guy in the center, and you've got the 7th hammer.
Only the exceptions can be exceptional.

The reason that He drops a Piercer is that in Barbarian Lore the Seventh Hammer is a rogue from the Rogues of the White Rose faction.

The Seventh Hammer is named that not necessarily because he weilds a hammer, the 6 Tribunals all weild hammers, and are sometimes referred to as 'Hammer's' themselves. This guy is not a tribunal himself but works with them, and brings criminals before the Tribunal to be judge, so 'The Seventh Hammer' is a fitting name I suppose, regardless of what he drops.

Per@#%^inghaps the reason why you see him on track all the time is because no one in your server has killed him yet! derr damn retard. ROFL and no hes not 1 group killable you can get a whole raid on him. You simply hail A Tribunal and he will Translocate you to a safe spot in a place that looks like the same tribunal court room but only thing is the portal is red and the 7th hammer stands at the end. after the raid gets there you simply kick his arse :)
