I have max ally faction with broken skull clan from doing alot of ruby quests. Every "broken skull" mob is still KOS to me in LoY.

Not much of a ROLE PLAYING game now is it?

To my knowledge Lynuga is the ONLY npc that is friendly to this faction. There is a rare troll in Steamfont on this faction but he is KOS to everyone. So basicly it's an entire faction for ONE NPC.

This faction is the remains of the troll hero, Nalikor. If you read a post a little bit down you'll see him. Anyway, Nalikor belived in very primitive living and did not want to establish Grobb or any form of civilization, he believed in guerilla living, foraging items from the swamp and being a nomadic race.

The more civilized elderly people of the Troll race, even as much as they respected Nalikor's power and wishes, wanted to be civilized because they knew what happened on Kunark.

(Note: This was before Nalikor returned to Trakanon with his decision of to be a 'demi god' of not)

Anyhow, the followers of Nalikor, which mostly were warriors and shamanistic peoples, broke away and formed another clan of the trolls known as the Broken Skull Clan.

They went back to Kunark to live in their origin and praise Trakanon but they were denied by the Iksar's. The Iksar feared that they would raise to power and supress them as had happened before.

So, the Broken Skull Clan returned to the Innothule Swamp, but, by this time, Grobb had been established as a fairly civilized city (for trolls). The city was fully equipped with guilds, merchants, guards, an army, and a banker.

Well, the Broken Skull Clan kept stealing recruits made by the Trolls, malesting Troll women (scary, eh?) and killing Troll wanderers. Although all this horrible stuff was going on, they were keeping Elven settlers from moving in so Grobb let them stay.

Finally, a Troll Commander went out to scout the humans movement into the deserts of Ro and was killed by the Broken Skull Clan, this did NOT include Nalikor because while they were in Kunark, he accepted Trakanon's invitation into the Realm of Gods.

Anyhow, "Da Bashers" were outraged by this, and quickly made all Grobb turn against the Broken Skull Clan, claiming them Heretics and Unholy Crusaders against Cazic Thule.

Massive Troll armies quickly rid Innothule Swamp of the Broken Skull Clan. The remaining trolls made small alliances with Da Bashers, at least, some.

Nalikor's Disciples, and the remainders of the Troll heretige have scattered throughout Norrath, in small outposts. Some, like Lyunga, still roam Innothule, with their small Da Basher alliance.

All in all, it is better to have Grobb faction then this faction.

This is official game lore. I believe it can be read at Allakhazam's main site under Game Lore

I sincerely doubt that a mouse could churn an entire bucket of cream into butter. I think the real lesson to be learned here is this: Always wear a flotation device when working with or near dairy products.

If i get lower fraction with broken skull clan, will I regret it? I am an iksar who wants to be friends with the bashers. If I do quests that makes ma friendly to Da Bashers and unfriendly to Broken Skull, will i regret it?

Broken Skull is the fading remnants of the founding Clan of the trolls on Antonica. The legendary troll hero, Nalikor - chosen by the dragon, Trakanon, to wield the "Flaming Sword of Nalikor"- led his 'people' from Kunark and landed on Broken Skull Rock. This rock is seen on the game map as off the coast from the Greenblood River, and I believe it is actually the island where the Temple Of CT now stands in ruin surrounded by the Greenblood River within Feerott.

Nalikor's body and sword was entombed on the rock, by his fellow clansmen. According to Trakanon, as told to Edril the ElfLord, the sword combined with Edril's pendant and the 'treasures' of the lich Miragul would enable one to achieve demigod status. None have yet to be recovered, if they even exist.

Is Chef Dooga in this faction?

I ahve heard that the reason so many trolls get killed by Chef Dooga is from doing this quest. I want to do this quest for faction (it's easier then 10 gp and 3 froglok meats) but do not want to anger her. Any ideas?

If you look at your EQ map (the one that came with the game) you'll notice a small island off the southern edge of Antonica. Broken Skull Rock. It's not in the game, but the inhabitants are. Maybe it'll get added sometime in the future.

Some thoughts

I think the Broken Skull Clan is somekind of a group of traitors to the trolls in innothule. Another thought is they are a guild of female trolls as only women are part of this faction. Another one that comes to my mind is that these trolls are just a clan of the ones that came to antonica but broke out in war with the other clans again and so got exiled.

Lynuga, in Innothule Swamp, is friendly to this faction. While waiting for her to spawn, I killed Troll Slayers to raise faction with her.
